"It was a surprise to find TolaRasa, an exquisite restaurant, in a neighborhood far from the bustle of Padua's historical landmarks. The atmosphere is pleasant, the chef is attentive, and the staff is efficient. The food, prepared right in front of us, was surprisingly sophisticated and flavorful."

Attentive service and excellent food!

Smart, with rich decor, quiet and sophisticated. Menu mostly fish and shellfish and as one of us can’t eat seafood our choice was very limited, despite the kitchen being very accommodating. As the cost is quite high we eventually decided that we could not eat there and the restaurant kindly allowed us to pay for our drinks and leave.

We were struggling to find a good restaurant on a Sunday evening when we found Tola Rasa - and hit the jackpot! Original, inventive twists on the regional cuisine, beautifully and artistically served. We felt the full tasting menu was too much so we were allowed to choose three courses and dessert - much appreciated. And to top it all off, the wine list was full of excellent reasonably priced choices.

The food is highly imaginative and exciting as well as being delicious . The menu is predominantly Italian but interspersed with unexpected flavours and ideas from across the world . We liked it so much we dined twice in three days . The service is personable and informative .Bravo !

From start to finish a wonderful experience. Luca provides the best hospitality and reccomendations while the chefs curate and prepare a fantastic tasting course from start to finish. One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had to date. Go here!

Superb service and even better food in a modern but very comfortable setting. The menu choice was unusual, being able to pick two or three items from the set tasting menus, which was a great idea. Would strongly recommend.

Tolo Rasa excels in creative, imaginative, refined cooking that respects the great tradition of the Italian cuisine. The service was impeccable. We had a very reasonably priced superb Malvasia wine from Friuli region. The menu is really good value for money. It was one of the best restaurant experiences we had in a long time. Highly recommended!

Padua has many restaurants of high quality, but Tola Rasa is always worth a visit. Our dinner was excellent, the look into the kitchen very interesting, the dishes very well balanced and also the local vine very fine. The staff was extremely friendly, we had an unforgettable evening.
