We arrived to an almost empty restaurant. The servers were rude and trying to hurry us to place an order. We ordered, everything came to our table all at once, pizza, salad, appetizer. The pizza was cold, and tasteless. Unacceptable for a restaurant that calls themselves a pizzeria.

It was delicious! And everyone was pretty kind

Cannot see how this place is recommended on certain sites. No ambience whatsoever and considering Palermo is full of vibrant places this is criminal. Service was slow, food was decidedly average, don't make the same mistake we did, head for the market and dive into the real Palermo street food scene.

The service was absolutely terrible. The older gentleman, who I assumed were the owners or management were rude & ignored us. Then when we asked for something, he barely looked up at us & walked away. I am surprised we stayed but our person we rented from recommended the place. We sat at the table and it took almost 30 minutes to have someone come to take a drink order. The entire meal for 3 people took well over 2.5hrs and we only ate pizza for dinner and 1 dessert. And to top it off, we had to remind them we ordered 1 dessert & asked for a take a way box. And getting the bill took forever as well.

We are sorry for the pizza chef who cooked very good pizzas (tasty and well-garnished), for the waiter who was elegantly dressed and very helpful, for the manager with glasses... We are sorry to give such a low rating because all these good things were spoiled by the employee who was unpleasant, more busy secretly checking his phone than taking the pizzas ready to serve on the counter (the pizza chef pressed the bell 3 times before you deigned to raise your head from your screen), dressed in a wrinkled t-shirt and above all who thought we were not going to say anything when he gave us the bill without the The Fork promotion and who also dared to be grumpy and complain when we asked for the discount. If you do not want to apply the discounts then leave The Fork.
