8.5/10The service offered by our waiter. The very good and inexpensive wine. The shots that we were offered at the end of our dinner together with small sweets . 😞 The tables are very close to each other.

3.5/10Worst meal in Italy. Pasta was not fresh, not homemade, and served cold. Far too popular and busy to make sense, stay away from this tourist trap!

10/10The food was simply amazing. I had the chicken with peppers and my wife had the cod fish balls. The focaccia was great and we shared a raspberry cheesecake which was a delight. Make sure you book. This seems to be the only Tonarello that you can actually book. Glad we did for our 30th wedding anniversary as there was a queue on the door.

We had an excellent waiter, Jesan and the food was superb. There were five in our party and the meals consisted of: lasagna, tonarello carbonara, tonarello pasta with meatballs, and a white pizza. We enjoyed out outdoor dining with wine. We will be happy to frequent this restaurant again!

Restaurant was busy, although it was early around 6. Service was very brisk and a bit too quick, we felt rushed. Food was ok. I heard the waiters mention to several other tables that the Carbonara was the best dish on the menu, sauce was thick and grainy and tasted floury. Not the best.

10/10Perfect spot to have dinner after visiting the Vatican. Bottle of wine, oxtail stew w mash potatoes and amatriciana pasta was the perfect meal for two and cost €65. The place is lively and the waiters were helpful. You'll love it!

We ordered a simple pizza and two Aperol Spritz and it was really good. The ingredients tasted fresh and the pizza was really well madd. We loved it and we would go back.

Server was so pushy and overly opinionated. Recommendations are welcome, but making us feel like we can’t get away without ordering his suggestions made the experience wildly uncomfortable. The food was amazing and it came out so fast. I just don’t want to feel judged or controlled while dining, it stressed me out and made it less enjoyable.

Michelle was amazing and very attentive to us during the entire visit! The food was good, I just didn't give it the 4 stars because the pasta was very al dente -- which I think is the style in Italy, but it was just a bit too firm for my personal taste. That being said, the flavor was excellent and the portions were huge. Very affordable and a charming place to have a simple meal while in Rome.

The pasta is amazing, meat is not their good point. The manager of the restaurant was super cute and nice. The rest of the stuff 50/50. But i can understand why. They are always so busy and full of people

The waiter was very friendly and we were seated pretty quickly. Food came pretty fast and was delicious. We were taking pictures and videos around, and one of the people there was recommending spots to take pictures of.
