Great food and service. I came super hungry and the waiter helped me to decide what to order. Both food and srinks were delicious and waiting time wasnt longer than drinkig 2 glasses of spritz;)

We arrived early and they accommodated us. Our waiter, Jason, was very attentive and all the staff were amazing. Food and drinks were outstanding

We had a wonderful supper with my wife in Tonarello San Pietro. Meatballs in oxtail sauce were incredibly tasty so was tonnarelli pasta with meatballs. Aleksandra advised us to order foccatia to accompany delicous artichokes, finish with mouthwatering tiramisu and entertained us with pleasant chat. We wish we lived in Rome to spend more evenings like this!

Excellent service and very delicious food. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. A great place with a warm atmosphere,highly recommended!

The service offered by our waiter. The very good and inexpensive wine. The shots that we were offered at the end of our dinner together with small sweets . 😞 The tables are very close to each other.

Worst meal in Italy. Pasta was not fresh, not homemade, and served cold. Far too popular and busy to make sense, stay away from this tourist trap!

The food was simply amazing. I had the chicken with peppers and my wife had the cod fish balls. The focaccia was great and we shared a raspberry cheesecake which was a delight. Make sure you book. This seems to be the only Tonarello that you can actually book. Glad we did for our 30th wedding anniversary as there was a queue on the door.

The food was tasty, and the carbonara was DELICIOUS. Andrea had a nice and friendly vibe. I will come back for sure!

We had an excellent waiter, Jesan and the food was superb. There were five in our party and the meals consisted of: lasagna, tonarello carbonara, tonarello pasta with meatballs, and a white pizza. We enjoyed out outdoor dining with wine. We will be happy to frequent this restaurant again!

The Tonnarello with eggplant is amazing! Love the tender pasta with rich tomato sauce. It was a pleasure to eat there. I can recommend.

Busy and over-rated! Food was very average and the waiter pushy for tips - have not experienced that elsewhere in Rome. Would not go back.

Pleasant experience. The food was flavorful, though a bit too salty for my taste. Service was excellent – friendly and attentive staff. I’d consider trying something different next time to get a better feel for the menu.

Restaurant was busy, although it was early around 6. Service was very brisk and a bit too quick, we felt rushed. Food was ok. I heard the waiters mention to several other tables that the Carbonara was the best dish on the menu, sauce was thick and grainy and tasted floury. Not the best.

Sat outside & enjoyed some delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere with good service. Eat here!

Perfect spot to have dinner after visiting the Vatican. Bottle of wine, oxtail stew w mash potatoes and amatriciana pasta was the perfect meal for two and cost €65. The place is lively and the waiters were helpful. You'll love it!

We ordered a simple pizza and two Aperol Spritz and it was really good. The ingredients tasted fresh and the pizza was really well madd. We loved it and we would go back.

The food at Tonnarellos was really good and the waiter who served us was excellent. However it was quite cramped and you didn’t get the sense of feeling relaxed in the restaurant.

Food was decent but the waiter took our order was not friendly and his face and tone were changed after we didn’t order the bread that he recommended.

Food was not authentic Italian but it was good enough. The service was very good and everyone was friendly.

Server was so pushy and overly opinionated. Recommendations are welcome, but making us feel like we can’t get away without ordering his suggestions made the experience wildly uncomfortable. The food was amazing and it came out so fast. I just don’t want to feel judged or controlled while dining, it stressed me out and made it less enjoyable.

Michelle was amazing and very attentive to us during the entire visit! The food was good, I just didn't give it the 4 stars because the pasta was very al dente -- which I think is the style in Italy, but it was just a bit too firm for my personal taste. That being said, the flavor was excellent and the portions were huge. Very affordable and a charming place to have a simple meal while in Rome.
