+1It was my 2nd visit. The limited choices on the lunchtime menu suited me fine. Each course was presented as a work of art, too - and it was almost a shame to break up the image of the starter by eating it ? Was pleased I was still in Paris for their first day of service following their August holidays closure. Will ensure this venue stays on my top panel of lunchtime Parisian locations.

+4We arrived at Towa expecting a warm welcome and a confirmed reservation. I hadn’t anticipated the need to reconfirm by email or phone, especially since no such instruction was given. Upon arrival, the chef’s wife informed me that there was no reservation because I hadn’t returned her call. I explained that I never received a call — I’m on an int’l number, so it would’ve been unlikely. She then shifted to say she had emailed me and I hadn’t replied. I hadn’t expected an email either. Despite our explanation, she insisted the restaurant was fully booked and no table was available. It was only after my friend mentioned that we had come all the way from Singapore that she, somewhat reluctantly, seated us at a table. The restaurant, I later observed, was not full. While the food was good, the experience left a sour note. The table we were shown to was sticky at the sides and hadn’t been properly cleaned. The service staff also didn’t speak much English to properly describe the dishes.

Loved the duck pie with fois gras, and I suggest the citron merignue dessert, too. Both suggested as specialities. There was also a fois ravioli app as a part of the menu. 👍

Everything, from the croquette of "pied de cochon" very Light, to the srimp carpaccio, to the Boullabaise. Everything better than expected. a great surprise. To return, definitively.

What a place and maybe the best dish I have ever eaten. As soon as I saw 'Duck and Fois Gras Pie' on the menu I knew it was for me and it was amazing. Starter of ceviche fish and dessert of creme brulee also both excellent. Service was faultless and I'm really looking forward to going back before too long. It's honestly worth a trip to Paris to have lunch here!!

This little restaurant was a wonderful discovery. The description of "fine French cuisine with a Japanese flair" is entirely apt. I will definitely return.

Wow! This had to be one of the best meals I have ever had. It was delicious from start to finish. The food was amazing, the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. If I am ever in France again I would go again, just to see what else the chef could come up with.

A Very good tasting menu with great service, but not a “must must” if your in paris for a short period. But we’ll worth a visit if your in paris for a longer period. Suitable for all types of small groups, families or couples.

Perfect is the word of my whole experience from beginning to the end, from service to the taste. One of best restaurant. The lunch menu dishes are gorgeous, delicious, elegant as art. So much pleasure to enjoy a meal like that. Definitely gonna come back again.

The restaurant is easy to find and very cozy inside. Some tables near the door are colder than the others. Food was great , mainly the starters and desserts. As main course I suggest definately the lamb! Service was ok, but not exceptional, empty dishes are left on the table for a long time

One of the best restaurant I went to in Paris recently. The menu is original but not too much. The service really nice. The food excellent. We took the Oeuf Mollet or Soupe de Potimarron as starters. Really good cooked and served at the right temperature. You can guess the chef is Japanese with the high attention given to the dish presentation and taste. The main course either Maigre or quasi de veau was delicious. A place I do recommend strongly for those who are passing close by.

Superb restaurant and food. Chef is creative, yet has obvious experience and a flair for flavours and presentation with right size portions. Wonderful wine list adds to the experience and sums up this bistronomique experience as one of the best in Paris.

It was a great experience. Super nice and responsive staff. Warm atmosphere. Dishes were really good. Especially the duck pie was delicious and tasty.
