+1Excellent, homemade food. Good place for vegetarian, celiacs..gluten free pasta & Rolla. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Delightful owner. Historic building. Steak was prepared perfectly. Pasta with walnut sauce, perfect. Great desserts.

A casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside, which provided a view of the two towers of Porta Soprana (hence the Trattoria’s name), as well as a good people watching. The service was fine, as well as our meal. My wife is vegetarian and had no trouble finding choices that were very good. They serve mainly Ligurian style food, typical of Genova. With so many excellent restaurants in Genova it is hard to single out any one, but this a good choice for a good local style meal at a reasonable price.
