8/10beautiful trattoria with a friendly and efficient service. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Highlight was a carbonara with truffle powder on top - delicious!

8/10The food was very good. The pasta dishes and the florentine steak were great. Bread served had better days. Service was uneven and lacked any kind of energy. The atmosphere was dull to be honest. Again, the food was excellent and reasonable.

9/10The steak Florentine was magnificent. Waiter offered 3 excellent wine pairings. The other items: Zucchini flowers, roasted potatoes, spinach ravioli, and lasagna were all also very good. The potatoes were especially good. The lighting and design inside are great for an intimate dinner; the music was a bit too loud. The temp a bit warm; but I would go back without hesitation.

10/10Absolutely amazing fresh pici pasta with zucchini and bacon along with fresh pasta and wild boar. Reservations will get you in immediately to this fabulous find. The food and the service were superb.

9.5/10Absolutely beautiful interior. The interior decoration is eclectic but works very well together. The olive oil on table was very good which set the whole experience up for success. The pasta dishes were excellent and seasoned to absolute perfection. The aperol and Hugo spritz’s were phenomenal. Definitely going to be returning.

10/10Lively and friendly vibe! Food was excellent and drinks flowed freely! Service was incredible and fun. Hung out for 3 hours and could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to return!

10/10Very near the famous landmarks and the food here is good. They also have very friendly staff! They even gave coloring materials for our kids to keep them entertained while waiting. Good choice.

9/10Recommended by our AirBnB host this restaurant had excellent food.in a casual atmosphere,, a pleasant waiter and was conveniently located. We booked a later time so unfortunately missed a few of the daily specials. We would definitely go again

5/10Owner unhappy when i complained about msin course pink chicken and when re cooked it was horrible. Not pleasant. Also did not give 20% off food. Dont go here!

9/10It is always a pleasure eating at Trattoria Antellesi. Whenever I go to Florence I make sure to have a meal there (I have been visiting for for over 30 years!) the food is delicious and typically Tuscan and the service always excellent. It is also reasonably priced. The back room is a little bit noisy but the decor is nice.

9.5/10Asked for recommendations from wine and appetizer to entrees. The Fried squash blossoms were amazing and light. The veal and peas sounded like a lighter dish, but it was plenty after walking the PItti palace and Bobbili gardens in one day!

3/10We decided to go based on a recommendation from a friend, even though there were mixed reviews. We sat outside. The music was very loud and we couldn’t hear each other across the table. They were busy, but it took a long time and several prompts to receive our water and wine. I ordered steak cooked medium; it came out rare and I sent it back to be cooked more (the same occurred for the woman next to us.) Steak contained no flavor at all, was fatty and tough. Given the number or restaurants in Florence, this is one to avoid.

5/10Disappointed. The food was sort of meh, so we left much of it. The service staff were working very hard and professionally, especially to make up for the manager/owner who was strutting (later stumbling around) yelling and seemed quite intoxicated. He kept throwing garbage on the street that his poor service staff had to bend down and pick up. Not the ambiance for a romantic dinner in Florence. Skip it.

6.5/10The food was excellent. I felt the manager was not very professional. He was just shouting out orders in italian and didn't know where the food was going.. Waiting staff were going in and out of the restaurant with orders but not to the customers tables as they were confused where it was going.!! He even tried to move a young lady from her table after she had just finished her main course and not finished her wine.. She even wanted dessert but he wanted to move her to make her table into 4 covers.. Which is a no no in my opinion

10/10Today was my third lunch at this wonderful establishment. This time I tried the Insalata Caterina de Medici and was blown away by the combination of ingredients: mixed greens (no iceberg lettuce here!), capers, anchovies, raw onions (not bitter), walnuts, and best of all six generous wedges of pecorino! I followed this with a nice serving of spinach-ricotta raviolis and it was perfetto! Combining this with The Fork's 20% discount offer was just a bonus. The total, including a glass of Chianti and a small bottle of mineral water was 28.60 Euro with the discount.

9.5/10I was extremely pleased with my lunch today after visiting two art museums in the morning. I ordered from the daily lunch special menu which offers great value for such a distinguished establishment. The service was friendly and professional and everything was prepared to perfection. I had the roast beef with potatoes and it was tender and juicy with an exquisite brown sauce which went well with the Chianti Classico Reserve. The Florentine style Tiramisu is much richer and creamier than what I was used to in the US (see my photos) and was accompanied by cafe macchiato. The restaurant offered me a chaser of cream of pistacchio and now I prefer that to the more traditional limoncello! Tomorrow I am going to try the 500g of Bistecca Fiorentina lunch special, and yes, I am going to have it rare.

9/10We knew Antellesi from earlier times and came back for Pici al cinghiale. Meanwhile the tenant has changed, so we found Pici with salsicia and cavoli nero instead, which also my almost 2 year old daughter really enjoyed! The Tiramisu with cantucci and vin santo was a new and delicious interpretation.
