The staff was friendly and attentive. The food, especially Nonna's lasagna was excellent. It's a place to go for a good meal, comfortable and well operated. We had lasagna, Tuscan beef stew, wine, caffe corretto and panda cotta. Left warm and happy. That's the whole point, right? Recommended!

Trattoria Antellesi is a an amazing little trattoria close to the Duomo but not charging ridiculous prices for beautiful food. From the time we arrived till the time we left, the staff were warm, welcoming, patient and were lovely to chat with. All our dishes, mixed salad, lasagna, penne, chef’s cheesecake were all amazingly delicious. Make sure you visit Trattoria Antellesi, you will not be disappointed.

🇮🇹 Amazing Local Experience at Trattoria Aentellesi – Would Definitely Return! We had such a lovely dinner at Trattoria Aentellesi in Florence — one of the best meals we had during our trip! I ordered the carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious — rich and creamy with just the right balance of cheese, egg, and black pepper. The flavor was deep but never heavy. It felt authentic and perfectly done. The sliced steak was another highlight. It was thinly cut, tender, and full of flavor — not crispy on the outside, but juicy and perfectly cooked. We paired it with a glass of red wine, and the combination was spot on. The staff helped us with the pairing, and it really elevated the meal. To finish, they offered us a shot of limoncello on the house, which was a sweet and refreshing surprise. Small touches like that made the whole experience even more memorable. Most of all, the service was incredibly kind and attentive — warm without being overbearing. You could tell they really care

The food was very good. The pasta dishes and the florentine steak were great. Bread served had better days. Service was uneven and lacked any kind of energy. The atmosphere was dull to be honest. Again, the food was excellent and reasonable.

The steak Florentine was magnificent. Waiter offered 3 excellent wine pairings. The other items: Zucchini flowers, roasted potatoes, spinach ravioli, and lasagna were all also very good. The potatoes were especially good. The lighting and design inside are great for an intimate dinner; the music was a bit too loud. The temp a bit warm; but I would go back without hesitation.

Absolutely amazing fresh pici pasta with zucchini and bacon along with fresh pasta and wild boar. Reservations will get you in immediately to this fabulous find. The food and the service were superb.

Absolutely beautiful interior. The interior decoration is eclectic but works very well together. The olive oil on table was very good which set the whole experience up for success. The pasta dishes were excellent and seasoned to absolute perfection. The aperol and Hugo spritz’s were phenomenal. Definitely going to be returning.

Very near the famous landmarks and the food here is good. They also have very friendly staff! They even gave coloring materials for our kids to keep them entertained while waiting. Good choice.

Recommended by our AirBnB host this restaurant had excellent food.in a casual atmosphere,, a pleasant waiter and was conveniently located. We booked a later time so unfortunately missed a few of the daily specials. We would definitely go again

It is always a pleasure eating at Trattoria Antellesi. Whenever I go to Florence I make sure to have a meal there (I have been visiting for for over 30 years!) the food is delicious and typically Tuscan and the service always excellent. It is also reasonably priced. The back room is a little bit noisy but the decor is nice.

Today was my third lunch at this wonderful establishment. This time I tried the Insalata Caterina de Medici and was blown away by the combination of ingredients: mixed greens (no iceberg lettuce here!), capers, anchovies, raw onions (not bitter), walnuts, and best of all six generous wedges of pecorino! I followed this with a nice serving of spinach-ricotta raviolis and it was perfetto! Combining this with The Fork's 20% discount offer was just a bonus. The total, including a glass of Chianti and a small bottle of mineral water was 28.60 Euro with the discount.
