9.5/10We found this wonderful place by chance - it’s small but perfect. The food range and quality are excellent as is the service. The wine list is extensive containing many local Tuscan wines you simply don’t often find. There are photographs of performers from over the years - very interesting

10/10This restaurant was an excellent find! It was close to our hotel. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent. The veal meatballs were perfecto and my daughters loved the ravioli. The staff was friendly and service was the best we had in Florence! Our waiter even boxed up a meal for my husband who was not feeling well. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was a little pricey but well worth it!

Thank you very much for your extremely polite review. We will take into consideration your comments to improve our quality and service for the future. Regarding our prices, we would like to inform you that there are 2 bilingual menus at the entrance of the restaurant clearly indicating the prices and nobody pointed a gun at you to enter and eat. P.S. Surely the garbage you are talking about you used to eat at your home with your family. Yours sincerely

10/10We heard about this restaurant at the recommendation of our host. It is very elegant with a great staff and atmosphere. We got the pappardelle with wild boar sauce and lasagna as our primi and shared the beef stew with mashed potatoes for our secondi. Everything was amazing!!

10/10We had a really good meal here - one of our best in Italy. Worth noting that most of the other diners were American (so are we) - but it didn't detract from a truly delicious meal with excellent service! Nice ambiance too.

10/10Absolutely delicious! One of the best meals I’ve had in Florence! The ambiance was charming and the servers were fabulous. A must-have is the tortellini - it is so light and flavorful. The veal meatballs were delicious, too.

10/10+2Authentic trattoria. Quickly filled up after 7:30 and we were the only ones speaking English. Delicious salads, pasta and veal. Great place for dinner but you need reservations. I’d eat here again

10/10Lovely off the beaten track resto with a great deal of history. The lovely woman who waited on us is the grand daughter of the original owner who opened in 1957. Her wine suggestion was on point and the dishes we had were really lovey. This place has history, charm, heart and good food. Can't go wrong. In fact, we wanted to return the following night but they are closed on Sundays.
