The friendly service was a welcomed pairing to the great food and ambience, Every bite was mouthwatering. A perfect recommendation from our Appartamento Montebello host - Lucia. You need a reservation- it’s a small establishment. Highly recommend.

The food is consistently wonderful. And the Service always warm and inviting, like having a great meal at the home of dear friends. A must when in Firenze!

In my opinion best traditional toscan food in Florence And I have been living there for 25 years and I am not related in any kind to the owners …. It’s simply great constant and always a pleasure to eat there Great wine list great service just go there if you can get a reservation you will not regret it

First night in Florence and discovered Trattoria Armando. It is a gem. Service, ambiance and food - perfecto!! We started with the Crostini with blue cheese and pears and the Crostini with black cabbage and sausage. Our primi was the Leek soup and Pappardelle with Wild Boar sauce. Our secondi was the Tortellini stuffed with peposa stew and the Veal meatballs in lemon sauce. ALL of these dishes were outstanding. And yes, we somehow had room and finished with the chocolate torte and the custard. A nice bottle of Chianti Classico as well. There were English, German, French and Italian speaking patrons and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoy their evening. Highly recommend!!

The meal was full of flavour and taste with nothing but fresh ingredients and the best house chianti we have ever had . The ambiance was lovely and service attentive but not intrusive a must visit place in Florence.

Their Male Waiter discriminated us as compared to other white guests and offered us poor food quality and overall service. Not a place for non white customers.

We went here twice and both times had the most amazing experiences. The food is superb, the atmosphere calming and the service impeccable. Just go, you will not regret it.

For my honeymoon. We are really happy to have dinner at the restaurant. A Japanese woman's service was excellent. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

Fabulous and quaint. The owner was there cooking and attending to the tables. That’s true passion and love for your restaurant. The lasagna was perfecto!

We found this wonderful place by chance - it’s small but perfect. The food range and quality are excellent as is the service. The wine list is extensive containing many local Tuscan wines you simply don’t often find. There are photographs of performers from over the years - very interesting

This restaurant was an excellent find! It was close to our hotel. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent. The veal meatballs were perfecto and my daughters loved the ravioli. The staff was friendly and service was the best we had in Florence! Our waiter even boxed up a meal for my husband who was not feeling well. Highly recommend this restaurant. It was a little pricey but well worth it!

This place is overpriced garbage

Regarding our prices, we would like to inform you that there are 2 bilingual menus at the entrance of the restaurant clearly indicating the prices and nobody pointed a gun at you to enter and eat. P.S. Surely the garbage you are talking about you used to eat at your home with your family. Yours sincerely

The dishes very good.. Service is excellent. Japanese staff is excellent and suggest best dishes.

We heard about this restaurant at the recommendation of our host. It is very elegant with a great staff and atmosphere. We got the pappardelle with wild boar sauce and lasagna as our primi and shared the beef stew with mashed potatoes for our secondi. Everything was amazing!!
