2.5/10The employees weren’t helpful, they treat us like they were doing us a favor. The food was so damn SALTY don’t go for the pastas.

7/10Every time we come to Florence, we have always enjoyed coming to Trattoria Bordino. My husband stopped in to see if they had any soups on the menu, they said they would have either onion soup or Ribolitta that evening. So, we made a reservation for dinner. We were quite shocked to see that they their prices for wine by the bottles jumped from €30 to €45, which we thought was high. They did not offer any house wines. I ordered the Ribolitta which was very good. My husband enjoyed a Filet with green peppercorn sauce. For dessert, he chose the crème caramel. Our disappointment came when they presented us with the bill. Since, the Ribolitta was not on the menu, I guess they thought that is where they could get us, and they did! I have had Ribolitta every day since I have been in Florence and have paid between €9 and €12. Trattoria Bordino decided to charge us €16, which I felt was excessive, and for that they have lost us as a returning customer.

9.5/10Excellent and delicious traditional food, very good service and surprisingly good house red and white wines at very reasonable prices. Pleasant atmosphere. When you book, request the main dining room. A bit noisier than the smaller room but much more festive.

10/10Loved this Trattoria, the staff were friendly and the restaurant has a fantastic ambience. Traditional Trattoria doesn’t have an extensive menu but we went for the Steak. Still other options on the menu caught our eye so enough choice. The steak was great the sides delicious, the before n after says it all! Yes, there’s a bit of a language barrier but we muddled thru and it added to the experience.

10/10As a tourist, we were used to bad service in crowded restaurants with just OK food... Bordino was the complete opposite! Amazing food, great service and a wonderful experience. We ended up going back again and again.

9/10Meal was amazing. Just wished they served roasted potatoes instead of French fries along side the Florentine steak we ordered. Roasted potatoes would have elevated the meal. However I would return!

10/10Lovely setting away from the chaos of the center of Florence, across the Arno and in Oltrarno. The restaurant itself is set in what looks like an old cave with great decorations all around. The waitstaff were attentive and the food was delicious

10/10To say this was an excellent meal is not enough. The proprietors of this restaurant are artisans. They craft dry aged steaks with the same care as a sculptor selecting a block of marble. The steak was amazing. The sides and pasta course were out of this world too. This is an authentic Florentine steak house not another tourist trap claiming to be. Everything about the meal was a total success!

9/10Nice family restaurant with great hospitality. I ordered Spaghettone all'Astice* e datterini freschi which is so delicious and Bistecca per due persone "DRY AGE" which was too raw so I asked the kitchen to recook it. Overall, I will return to this restaurant for spaghetti 😉

10/10This place was really awesome and felt very cozy. The dry-aged beef was delicious. The staff are very kind and hospitable. I recommend this place for a date night or to go with friends or family. Order some steak Florentines and some sides of spinach and potatoes. Wonderful experience! One minor thing is that the restaurant appears to be part of a food tour. My partner and I were having fun "people-watching" as two tours came in and out during our meal. Some people may not like this, but we found it incredibly entertaining :)

5.5/10The restaurant has a very limited menu but still managed not to have almost half of the listed dishes. However what they did have was very mediocre and way overpriced. The waiter has no knowledge of wine whatsoever and served 7% Rose instead of a regular Rose wine which was listed but not available.

7.5/10We really enjoyed our evening here. It's just off the Ponte Vecchio so a great location and the food is decent Tuscan cuisine. It was very good value compared to other restaurants in the area and staff were very pleasant

7.5/10I would probably have rated higher but our experience was spoilt by the loud Australian tour leader raising her voice while walking around her group of about 16, to make herself heard, 'talking' them through every step of their meal. Rather than our meal being a relaxing evening out with our friends, after a day of avoiding noisy tours in museums, it felt more like a continuation! This is a place for meat lovers. The ravioli with ceps was dry and stogie but the other pasta dishes were OK. We didn't have deserts.

10/10First came here more than ten years ago, their steak is so good I have a very fond memory of it. And the lobster pasta, truffle pasta were great too. I came back after all these years, they offer dry aged now, it is even better! The table side cutting is always fascinating. We tried a pasta with vongole and pesto, impeccable!

6/10Now granted, we come from Texas where beef is king and although the cut of Tbone was beautiful AND aged there needs to be a better choice of cooking preferences. You are WASTING the taste on EVERYTHING being extremely rare. No choice…just what a 120€ 2 person Tbone gets you. As we say in Texas….”Cmon now!!!”

10/10We were recommended to come here in order to get a great food experience. Not only we’ve got amazing and delicious local fiorentina, we had the best waiter John who took care of us and was very kind. We also were able to stay after closing time and finish our bottle of wine. Excellent service here, I definitely recommend a visit and I am giving them 10/10!
