Food was fine, service was mid.

A characteristic trattoria, situated in the old stable. Gone there for the Florentine steak, and did not regret. The steak was superb, served with great artistic vibe.

Lovely ambience and friendly, fun service. We did not get the bistecca fiorentina as we had had it at another place the evening before, bur wished we had....it looked amazing.

Lovely unassuming restaurant - wouldn’t necessarily have stopped if just walking past but had been recommended (outside of The Fork too). Food was fabulous and tasted fresh and home made - only little disappointment was that they only offer one wine by the glass - although a nice chianti I would have preferred a white option. Excellent service all round - special thanks to Javier for the Peruvian chillies to add a little kick to my meal. Definitely worth visiting.

This was our second time to eat there and it did not disappoint. The pasta with truffles was great and the Tomahawk steak was fantastic!! Plus the 50% discount made it even more enjoyable.

seems we got them on a bad day. the florentine steak was cold in the middle, one of the sides were incorrect and the fagioli were tepid, starchy and unseasoned. I never complain but felt obliged even with the discount. to their credit they did give a further discount when we paid. the wine was very good and they were friendly and accommodating. to note it was the day that their was the black out through the city centre and they seemed like they were playing catch up for dinner service. your experience may differ from ours

Really nice ambience, a perfect cool and dark setting amidst the heatwave of Florence summer. We had the lobster pasta and risotto, both very tasty. Staff were lovely. Overall, highly recommend

Worst pasta I have had in italy. Not authenitic at all. Cacio e pepe tasted like packet alfredo mix and I didnt even order alfredo. Menu also said it was served from a cheese wheel which it wasnt it didnt even have cheese. Big disappointment for our last night in Florence. Staff ask you how the food is and u complain and they dont even care.

The place to go and eat. No tourist traps. Great food, quality staff. No rip-offs. Affordable and delicious.

We ate here on our honeymoon almost 16 years ago and it was the best meal of that trip. We were very happy to return for my birthday dinner this trip and had another wonderful meal.

Nothing interesting. You can try it if you catch a discount but I would rather try a new one instead of revisiting this restaurant.

Wonderful service. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was as well. If we were staying in Firenze longer we would definitely return. Gracie a tutti!

The employees weren’t helpful, they treat us like they were doing us a favor. The food was so damn SALTY don’t go for the pastas.

Every time we come to Florence, we have always enjoyed coming to Trattoria Bordino. My husband stopped in to see if they had any soups on the menu, they said they would have either onion soup or Ribolitta that evening. So, we made a reservation for dinner. We were quite shocked to see that they their prices for wine by the bottles jumped from €30 to €45, which we thought was high. They did not offer any house wines. I ordered the Ribolitta which was very good. My husband enjoyed a Filet with green peppercorn sauce. For dessert, he chose the crème caramel. Our disappointment came when they presented us with the bill. Since, the Ribolitta was not on the menu, I guess they thought that is where they could get us, and they did! I have had Ribolitta every day since I have been in Florence and have paid between €9 and €12. Trattoria Bordino decided to charge us €16, which I felt was excessive, and for that they have lost us as a returning customer.

Got charged for 2 900 gram steak that might have been 500 grams each. Service wasn’t ideal.
