9.5/10This was our best meal while in Florence, specifically the truffle carbonara. We did not order the carbonara initially. It was brought to us by mistake, and we were so happy it was! To say we loved it would be an understatement. Great wine selection. Ambiance-wise, there were a lot of college students when we dined, so it was loud. But, that did not damper our experience. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

10/10We loved having dinner here. The entire wait staff was very friendly. The tomato sauce on the pizza was freshly made and amazing! Great Italian ambiance.

5/10This is a complete tourist trap. Food was moderate at best. The pizza dough was not cooked through and neither was the table bread. The Cinghale pasta lacked flavor. Much better places in Florence to eat at.

9/10Excellent food, gets very busy! Would recommend the pizzas and beer. You can book ahead but they’re good at squeezing in a walk in too. Lavatories leave allot to be desired

9/10We really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Only wish that the tables were not to close together. It is very difficult to get in/out of seat without banging into the table right on top of you.

4.5/10Unfortunately our visit was badly affected by a large table of very drunk and loud American females who were screaming, shouting and singing to all the music played by the restaurant. We could not talk to each other as we could not hear over the noise. The waiting staff encouraged their behaviour and at one point even turned the music up so loud that it became a nightclub. We almost got up and left without paying. The food was ok but not as good as we had elsewhere in Florence, the restaurant has lots of small black flies which suggests to me it is not clean and my daughter said the toilets were disgusting - the worst she had encountered in Florence (and she has spent all day in a sports centre with many hundreds of people!). The disrespectful American group forced other guests to leave unhappy and the staff should have intervened. It was only when we shouted that the Americans were asked to calm down but by this stage our evening was ruined. We asked for money off our bill and the restaurant provided a 6 Euro discount and, we left never to return. Florence is full of amazing places to eat with great ambience, we were unlucky on our last evening here.

10/10Our food was good. Lots of servers to help, just get their attention. We enjoyed the ambience, the gnocchi, the pizza, the capacious, and the soup. We would go back!

10/10Always my first stop in Florence. The best pizza in town, great atmosphere at the Piazza Santo Spirito, and very friendly staff. It is my favourite place in Florence for either lunch or dinner. Took my partner this time who ordered pasta and he also found it excellent and still talked about it the next day :) Love it and recommend it to anyone visiting Florence wanting a nice, Italian traditional meal.

10/10The restaurant was fantastic! We had a great meal outside on the piazza Santo .The mixed seafood dish was plentiful and delicious !! The house wine was perfect with our dish. Service was exceptional!

10/10Great outdoor space in a lovely piazza. Delicious ravioli with spinach and ricotta. Finished the meal with refreshing lemon sorbet. Really sweet staff who were helpful and efficient. Terrific evening. Thank you!

10/10Pietro and his team were amazing! We were a group of 22 people and it wasn't sure we could sit outside but they managed to make space for us. While waiting for the table, they served us an aperitivo on the house. Everyone of the service team was super nice and helpful. We could also order à la carte which we appreciated a lot. The food was really good too. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed it a lot! Looking forward to go there again :-)

10/10Delicious dinner in a beautiful setting for our last night in Venice! Highly recommend the flavorful truffle pasta, salmon, grilled vegetables and dessert trio. Great selection of wine.

8/10Busy trattoria in the lively Piazza Santo Spirito with seating on the piazza. Diverse clientele. Spaghetti carrettiera was tasty and the pizza excellent if you like the traditional thin crust pizza slightly charred on the bottom and in its raised edges - to our mind, exactly the way it should be prepared. Great for a solid meal without fussy service in a Oltrarno piazza that feels alive
