+3We had an excellent dinner at Trattoria Castel Nuovo. Every dish was spot on – the burrata salad with cherry tomatoes and crunchy bread, the parmigiana di melanzane, and the spaghetti alla Nerano were all delicious. We paired the meal with a fantastic bottle of Primitivo di Manduria “Oro di Eméra” – full-bodied and smooth. Service was outstanding – Fabrizio, our waiter, was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience even better. Warm atmosphere, fair prices, and great food. A gem in Naples – highly recommended.

Food what’s great but Christian was even greater.. This is the type of employee I will keep in my restaurant. He is genuine, friendly with a great personality, has the service skills to make sure guest are happy and he is also very knowledgeable about the menu… The owner was also a kind friendly person.. I would definitely go back again..

Food quality was good , the menu and plate presentation shows they want to be in competition with higher standards and my opinion will be to keep it Original and creative plating doesnt have to be inspired or copied from other restaurants.

9.5/10Very accommodating with tasty food. Chef a beautifully presented the food and we appreciated the effort. The spot is a touch spartan, but beyond that and a lack of listing available house wine by the glass, it was a very pleasant experience.

Very good restaurant but when I came the waiter didn’t pay much attention to my the form booking. I asked the same waiter why there is no discount and I said „the fork discount” he acted as he never hear it in his life. I thought I’m in wrong restaurant for the moment!!! He made me say my name like 3 times to confirm the booking 🤡 manager confirmed it on the fork and discount has been applied, the same older grey hair waiter had the audacity to ask if I want to tip when paying - of course not, you need to pay service charge copperto. Other than that it’s very elegant restaurant which breach cheap pizza in the best area of Naples.

10/10Loved the margherita pizza—best pizza we have ever had! Our port visit in Naples was complete because our goal was to try good pizza while in the birthplace of pizza! This restaurant is near the Castle so it was very easy to find. Read reviews before our trip & many people raved about this restaurant! Reasonably priced too!

6/10I would say it did not come up to our expectations, nothing too special, no personal touch. The waiter presented the desserts in the following way: "There is Baba and some lemon cake" and the "cake is nothing special"..quite weird in general.

2/10I had a 1:00 reservation, but after arriving, I had to wait 40 minutes for the food to come out. I ordered seafood pasta (mussels, lily, shrimp, tomato) in the first picture, but the waiter served mussel pasta (see the second picture). Mussels were separated from their shells. I wondered if the mussels from other people's food leftovers were peeled and put in. Because the mussel pasta I received was a food that could not be found on the restaurant's menu or Google Map review. When asked what the menu name was, he evaded the answer. He said he would make pasta again and took it away. However, the cook just added a few more clams to the pasta. It was very unpleasant service. The Margherita pizza was so watery that it was like porridge. The risotto was hard, like fried rice in oil. The waiter insisted on speaking Italian rather than English and was very unfriendly. The waiter was kind to the white people at the next table, but was so unkind to us that I wondered if it was racism. Recommend not to visit the restaurant that ruins your travel experience.
