Trattoria Coriolano is located a short walk away from Via Veneto right by the Porta Pia. I had the pasta with asparagus, pancetta, and pecorino which was on special for a first course. It was quite good -- a nice example of Roman cuisine in season. The asparagus were particularly fresh. For the second course I had the trippa a la Romana which was outstanding -- also a prime example of Roman cuisine. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. The crowd was mostly local regulars. The cost was very reasonable for what I had. I can recommend if you want to go to a restaurant that locals frequent.

Fantastic find for those seeking great Italian food at moderate prices. The service was attentive and very approachable which was nice. We started off with an appetizer with hand cut prosciutto and buffalo ricotta cheese and honey. Really fantastic. We had a selection of first course pasta that were all delicious. Also, a second course with veal saltimbocca which was very nice. A nice wine selection is also available by the bottle with vino available by the glass as well. We definitely plan to go back in our next visit to Rome.

The restaurant was mostly lovely, although I ordered the lamb chops and was served lamb chops that were so tiny it was very bizarre. Each chop had maybe 1 ounce of meat on it. I even googled it to see if maybe I was missing something and this was a thing! Not sure if they served this random tiny portion to us because we were tourists? at least the 1 ounce of meat was tasty. 🤷🏻♀️ was so weird though, because everything else was quite good.

Amazing traditional Italian cuisine, not a touristy spot and lots of Italians having lunch so a local treat. Service was wonderful, they were friendly and attentive.

Kind staff og nice food allthough the portions are quite big and a "full" italian dinne is too much. Placed next to the door and a bit cold there.

We had a party of 4 and everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was top notch. Highly recommend.

The food was great, and so was the service. We got to speak with the owner a bit and he was very pleasant. I tried the crispy octopus, and it was absolutely delicious.

Great classic dishes, excellent service in a cozy interior. They had excellent specials. Would recommend to anyone coming to Rome. Great for a group of 6.
