10/10Our server Alex was fantastic! He patiently explained the menu and the choices of beef cuts as well as the fat content. The food and atmosphere was fabulous. The meat is served rare but due to the way they cook it you do not feel like you are eating “beef sushi”. It’s in a cozy little courtyard on the quieter side of the Ponte Vicchio. Prices are good/moderate. We are so pleased to have booked this family owned Trattoria on our first night in Florence. Thanks Alex

10/10We had to wait for our food for 2 hours... other tables that arrived later than us already paid the bill when we were still waiting for the main course.. nobody attended us, even if we asked we were ignored. We are not critical people and understand a lot (that it's busy etc), but this was truly bad... would definitely not recommend to anyone

10/10The food was well prepared and delicious. The service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Located off the main avenue, the restaurant is quiet, and a welcome relief from the jam-packed tourist areas of Florence, yet just steps from Ponte Vecchio. Good value for authentic Tuscan cuisine!

10/10We had a wonderful meal here. I highly recommend the steak! We also had the mushroom pasta which was handmade and delicious. They gave us complimentary limoncello and the staff was absolutely amazing. So kind and helpful. I highly recommend here if you want an authentic meal with a great atmosphere and staff.

10/10Small place off the beaten path. Italians from northern Italy were eating there in their tour. Chef was in and out of the kitchen assessing the dining room. Waiter and other service staff were very accommodating especially with being willing to speak English. A highlight of our visit. Oh and the food was spectacular!

6.5/10The location and setting in the patio were nice. I thought the food was good, but nothing was exceptional. Except for the cannoli, which was great. It was definitely a place for tourists, not a lot of locals here. The Chianti I chose was really nice, but the waiter tried to up me to a Brunello (a great wine, but way more expensive). I would not go here again, there are many other good choices.

10/10This restaurant was an accidental find and turned out to be a real gem. Went to eat there two nights in a row. Great selection of dishes. Wonderful and welcoming staff. Excellent location in heart of downtown. Don't miss this place when in Florence.

10/10This was an excellent restaurant choice. I was searching for a restaurant from Chicago & discovered the Fork. I read the reviews & took a chance & booked for a table for 4. We were all very pleased. Our waiter was excellent!!! The food was outstanding, especially the ravioli & noodle pasta dish we ordered. The steak florentine was quite the presentation.

10/10Excellent restaurant. Went tonight and by far one of our best meals in Florence our entire family has had during our stay of 11 days. Amazing service by Vito and team. We tried the lasagna, the ravioli, the fish and the veal, all of which were well prepared and delicious. The wines were also excellent. They were very accommodating with the two babies in our family and ensured we had a good pasta for the toddler. The seating area is well done. We will definitely be back here again soon.

10/10Alexander was our waiter, and we had the most wonderful experience. Our food was terrific; my partner and I had ravioli and lasagna for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our waiter was helpful, kind, and friendly. He helped us with advice for our further travels throughout Florence. I highly recommend Trattoria de Guicciardini. We will most definitely visit again.

10/10We were staying on the Pitti Palace side of the Ponte Vecchio, read a few great reviews, so decided to give a try. Nothing about the evening disappointed. Not only was it the best dinner we had in Florence, start to finish one of the best meals we ever had. The service and family hospitality was on par with the quality taste and smell of the food. The pastas, the main meals and the desserts all fantastic and you must save room for dessert. I highly recommend the pannacotta with caramel. I already told 4 families we meet in Florence and Rome to go. Grazie Millie.

10/10Been to Florence several times. This is a hidden gem. Best bistecca I have ever had…and I have been to top steakhouses throughout the U.S. This was truly a joy for our family as the staff were attentive and extremely personable. Will make sure friends and family are aware of this!

10/10Update: we’ve now dined in twice since arriving in Rome and plan on dining in for our last Florence dinner as well. Trying to figure out where to begin with this joint. Husband and I were staying not to far away and saw this establishment had great reviews even as of this month (May 2023) and decided to have our first dinner in Florence here. Hands down one of the best decisions we've made on our trip to Italy so far!We had made dinner reservations and upon arriving were promptly seated in their back patio along with other patrons who were already dining or waiting for food (excellent sign; see previous review to understand what I'm referencing to) and placed our drink and food orders after having the questions we did have answered by our server Alex. From the moment we sat down at Trattoria de Guicciardini, Alex made us feel so welcome/had a great personally and had such a great sense of humor I don't remember not laughing all evening! You could see he genuinely loved the place he worked for and found out the chef is actually his brother as well. We were able to meet him afterwards to thank him for such an incredible first meal and already plan on being back before heading off to our next destination. We'll 100% make sure to drop by this spot from now on when ever we are in Florence for both the amazing food and staff! : ) 10/10 Recommend!!

10/10We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! The T-bone steak was the BEST steak we’ve ever had!! Simply delightful … it literally melted in your mouth. The service was outstanding. They show you the cut of steak before cooking and then they slice it off the T-bone (served rare of course) and add rock salt on the side. I don’t like my steak rare, but this one I couldn’t get enough of! Our waiter Vito was full of energy and just a delight. We got grilled vegetables and he treated us to pan fried potatoes which were so good. At the end of the evening he also treated us to lemon cello. It really was a perfect night and we even got to meet the chef! Outstanding!!
