4/10The restaurant booking was made early by me but we were not in the restaurant proper but a tiny back room. The waitress had a packed room of non italian speaking guests and she spoke no English. The poor girl received no support from senior staff and took forever to take orders. We received the wrong wine and did not receive a salad which was ordered and on the bill. Pointed this out on receiving the bill. Our waitress had to go off and consult her manager and returned distressed to say he would not adjust the bill. My wife sought him out as we left to tell him how badly he had performed in his attitude to us and in not helping his staff. He diffidently replied sorry for that and see you next time. Total arrogance and ignorance

6.5/10I booked this restaurant months in advance for 7PM. We were seated downstairs while others was seated upstairs. it was an icebox downstairs. I asked why we were seated downstairs and they said irhers had reservations. I explained so do we. We were moved upstairs. our waitress was a bit cold throughout service. The bread was very bad. Maybe we,are spoiled coming from Venice. The steak was okay but not nearly as good as the Ribeye we had in Paris. The desserts were excellent. The wine was excellent. The ambience was spectacular as I imagined it would be. Maybe it was simply on off night for the restaurant. There was a serious football game with Italy playing so there was a lot of passion/tension in the air.

10/10We ate at this restaurant twice during our 4 day stay. The food is delicious! The first time I had homemade pesto fanfalle, the second visit we split a steak florentine. Michael was an excellent waiter, ask for him! He treats everyone as a VIP!

7/10We were greeted at the door and advised them that we had 9:00 reservations. We had the steak which was tender but there was a lot of gristle which made it challenging to eat. The tagliolini was good but not great. The cheese with fruit was okay. We didn’t order dessert Overall we were underwhelmed with the taste of the food. Halfway through our meal and there were only a few tables with guests, I was quite surprised to see a waiter carrying out a large black garbage bag through the centre of the restaurant out the front door. It definitely didn’t add to the ambiance.

10/10Great service and hospitality. The waitress, was so kind and generous. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend coming here for a family friendly meal!!

7.5/10We had to wait a while to be seated, and a group of people that came after us had been seated before, so they brought them in front and made us wait. The restaurant was not super full and develops on more than one floor. The food overall was good and the wine too. A shame they use plastic bottles and not glass bottles for water, as the restaurant is not cheap, but plastic certainly feels like it. Our server, genny, was nice, available, and helpful. Overall a positive experience but the atmosphere was a bit off, maybe the lighting, maybe the room we were seated in made us feel a bit claustrophobic.

9.5/10Despite an error where our booking on Fork wasn’t received by the restaurant, they found us a table, and we have a wonderful meal. The lasagne of the day was excellent, as was the tortelli with patate and cinghiale. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Firenze!

10/10My daughter and I had dinner here last night. I had roast pork and potatoes and she had the steak. Hate to say this but the pork was better than my Italian mother makes!!! Fantastic. Best meal so far on our trip to Italy

4.5/10Food was terrible. In particular, the meat. It was hard dry and extra toasted. However the place was very peaceful, intimate and good table service. But from all the restaurants tried in these 4 days at Firenze, this one was the worst in a quality-price relation.

9/10Great find that was recommended by a tour guide. We had a reservation, were seated immediately and the restaurant soon filled quickly. Enjoyed the food, ambience and attentive, but not intrusive, service. Would definitely return.

10/10We really enjoyed our meal here! My husband and I split the bistecca florentina with the roasted potatoes and I am still dreaming of the potatoes. Also very nice that there was some air conditioning on a hot summer day!
