A classic, excellent local food, service and ambiance by the Teatro Massimo.

Food was excellent, staff was good, but it felt like you were in a cafeteria. Huge room, bright lights, very little ambiance.

This is one of my favorite, reliable, go-to restaurants in Palermo. It is centrally located, easy for visitors to find, the food is consistently good and the service is excellent. Last night we all had spaghetti alle vongole which we very much enjoyed.

Trattoria del Massimo is a consistently good and reliable restaurant which is why I return regularly. Tonight I had the fish of the day which was delicious and my friend has the anelletti al forno which she really enjoyed.

Not really interested In a client. Food was very average. There was no food that was showed in reviews and pictures.. many much better places around I must say

The food was uninspired & pedestrian. I should have known better than to order a fixed price menu option, but we were too tired & hungry to think clearly after getting off a transcontinental flight.

It was great to walk into a place that felt like we were eating at a local restaurant and not some tourist trap! The staff were excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely a must try!

+2We started with the sfizzi (assorted appetizers) which were good, but not great, and the panelle & crocche, which were outstanding! Our main courses were very good: grilled tuna, busiate alla Norma, and spaghetti marinara. We shared a small chocolate mousse for dessert along with Amari. The service was excellent!

A really good lunch only spoilt by my wife’s order for her main arriving which wasn’t what she ordered. It took 10 mins or so before the correct dish arrived. The food we had was excellent though and the staff were helpful and attentive. We would definitely go again.

Best food we had during our 3 days in Palermo. Excellent shrimp tartar and red wine risotto. Mackerel was a bit dry but fresh and plump. Good thing we booked thru The Fork as several people were turned away as the establishment was at capacity

A really nice restaurant with great food and very kind personnel.

So many new dishes for us to try as first time visitors. They did not disappoint! Stabrting with the Sicilian whims for appetizers to unique ways of presenting fish and amazing hazel nut pesto raviolis. The Sicilian wine was delicious and the chocolate mousse dome to die for. Read about this place in Rick Steves book. So glad we read about it. We would love to eat here again on our next visit. Highly recommend.
