The food is really mid, I’m sorry but we tried a lot of restaurants and this one was the worst by far! The service is nice tho!

Dear, you had to leave because I shouldn't have even seated you for seven of you!! Is the food overrated? Maybe you're used to eating something different from your hometown! Here in Rome, we eat like this!

8.5/10The food is quite good - my steak with Parmesan & arugula was perfectly cooked and my husband liked his cacio e pepe as well. Chianti was dry and slightly fruity and a generous pour. The staff is lovely- super friendly, accommodating and efficient. It can be a bit tough to find as it sits alone in a dark street fairly close to Trevi Fountain (which is a fun after-dinner stroll). Just plug it into your map of choice and follow directions, even if you feel like it MUST be wrong. You’ll likely see some folks out front waiting!

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and I’ve come back many times because it’s always such a great experience. They make the best amatriciana in Rome, unbeatable! This time I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who was incredibly kind and friendly. If you can, it’s best to book a table in advance, but even if you have to queue, it’s totally worth the wait!

5/10Despite having booked a table for 9 pm . We had to wait outside in the cold untill 9-30 to be seated . There were 10 other people in the same position waiting. Our main courses came at different times and my husband's was cold , and I was actually told off by a member of staff for asked for a little black pepper for my pasta . I'm afraid this place is currently a victim of it's own success.

9.5/10Lovely friendly and helpful staff. It is a very small and personal establishment so tables are very close to each other. Food didn’t disappoint And was lovely that you could see all the food being prepared. It is advisable to book in advance as it is a very popular and busy place to eat. You know you are in the right place when the locals eat here. Would definitely recommend.

After visiting a few restaurants that had a lot of excellent reviews I was a bit sceptical about this one especially with the size of the trattoria. The vibe in this place really made it at enjoyable night along with the great food. The price paid was very good too.

9/10The food was incredible, fresh pasta and the service for the size of restaurant was decent. It’s a very very small place with few workers and they have filled the space with tables (literally not being able to fit unless the person behind you scoots in their chair). I rated the ambience lower as it got very hot inside but the pasta was really delicious. Highly recommend it for the pasta.

Hi Matt! Is that why you're giving it a 6?? It doesn't seem fair to me! If you'd seen the place beforehand, you could have avoided sitting down! Giving such a low rating ruins our very high average! Think about it! Chef Roberto

10/10It’s a small, traditional place. Squashytables and fast turnaround. Booking pretty much essential but delicious traditional food, great friendly service and good value. Don’t expect a quiet romantic meal but great food and wine in a traditional setting. Would highly recommend.
