Dining at Trattoria Diladdarno was a delight. Extra Menu (aka today's Specials) items were terrific. The large ravioli in what seemed to be a white cream sauce were divine. The Il Cinghiale alla Cacciaora, Wild Boar, was rich and wonderfully tasty. To accompany the meal I ordered a bottle of the Vermentino from Elba, delicious. As I had arrived very hungry, there was still room for dessert. The Italian word escapes me for the moment, the once baked, easily bitten biscotti served with Vin Santo, is always one of my favorites. Dip the biscuits into the Vinto Santo and experience bliss. I highly recommend this Trattoria.

The dinner was delicious. We had ice cream with caramelized pear in pesto sauce, very interesting and refreshing. Suckling pig served in four different ways was amazing too. Over all it was a great experiencing.

The food was excellent and the vibe was great. We ate under the stars and enjoyed some well seasoned meat, delicious spicy bean balls, and fresh salad. Dessert was unique and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!

The personal connection the wait staff worked to form with each customer was amazing. We visited with our daughter and got to meet the owner, his wife and other family members. The food is AmAZINg.. but the care and hospitality is matched if not even better.

This was our second visit - we had been a year ago and had to go back. Once again the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Above and beyond - they give great guidance on what pairs well to make a wonderful meal.

Traveling abroad including areas of Italy on multiple occasions, there are rare experiences that you take home and reflect on as "sublime"- this was one of the few. This was the best overall meal I've ever had in Italy. When you walk through the front door, greeted with enthusiasm, you immediately feel you're in an establishment which prides itself on providing a homestyle Italian meal and experience. Subtle recommendations are provided if you ask and make sure to listen as you will be amazed with every flavor. Everything from antipasti through dessert blends perfectly. Even the table olive oil is the highest quality locally pressed in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and visit, relax, and enjoy the delights of staff and chef as they won't lead you wrong. The perfect evening!

The food was excellent. The menu offers interesting choices. The staff are very courteous. The ambiance is intimate, clean, well-lit.

Food is okay, waitress are very friendly, price /quality is maybe a little bit out of balance , dessert okay but nothing outstanding .. so its okay but not more than that .

We were warmly welcomed into this small and unassuming trattoria. Antipasti of chicken liver on fried polenta and grilled herring were perfect as an entree. The pasta primi dishes were truly superb. We did not have secondi but there looked to be some great choice.

Wonderful service with local cuisine. Entire wait staff was friendly and made us feel at home (we don't speak Italian). Would definitely recommend!

This is a hidden gem in Florence. By far the best meal we have had in ten days staying in the city. This family owned restaurant is a step above the rest with flavor profiles. This is like eating at your Nonna’s house (if your Nonna is an exceptionally trained chef). The whole family working there is very kind and accommodating. We are going back tonight for our last meal in the city to try more of the menu! 10/10

There are too many nice things you need to try on the menu & the owner is super super nice! We love the Parmesan ice cream, probably the best risotto I have ever had in my life & the truffle lardo steak was amazing!

Very good food - at the right price too. The owners/staff were very friendy and helpful. They have an indoor space and an outdoor garden/dining room. We loved it!

I had superb food. Quiet and friendly place, felt pretty local but some dishes were in par with some Michelin ones I've had. Underrated I think. I'll be back very soon

Initially very courteous but after I complained about the low quality "secondo" which I did not eat, the waiter became rude. No apologies, no offering something else but charging full price
Trattoria DiladdarnoCara signora, lei ,vegetariana, si è subito indispettita perchè nel nostro menù c'erano pochi piatti vegetariani, ed è vero, ma siamo una trattoria tipica fiorentina e non un ristorante vegetariano. Inoltre il secondo non le è piaciuto, ma ne ha mangiato più della metà e poi ce l'ha detto con parole non proprio gentili. Se si vuole cortesia bisogna anche essere cortesi, perchè siamo al servizio dei clienti ma non siamo servi di nessuno. Cordialmente la saluto, e mi permetto di suggerirle quando va a pranzo di scegliere un ristorante adatto a lei: i menù sono esposti fuori, basta leggerli. Buona giornata

I high recommend this highly welcoming familial address. We felt like nonna’ s place. The diner was excellent and we spent an amazing evening! The plates are typical from Firenze, we had the opportunity to taste the bistecca alla fiorentina and it was delicious ! Don’t hesitate to ask suggestions, you won’t be disappointed. My reco: leave some room for the delicious “La via delle spezie” dessert, you will travel across the story of Florence !

This is a lovely restaurant not to be missed in Florence. We ordered the bisteca florentina and was very delicious! We were also recommended to try the burrata as an appetizer and it was worth every single bite! The server was very nice and gave lots of recommendations. Her great service made us feel at home. Strongly recommend!

We were recommended to This restaurant by our friend. The food was very good and the staff were lovely and provided a great service. We dined outside in the patio area which was great and had a real warm ambiance.

Wonderful service and food. As genuine as it gets. Would recommend the slow cooked pork especially. Accidentally booked 2 when we were a family of 6 but we were accommodated anyway and had a great meal.

We arrived during a heavy rainstorm but received a warm welcome. The food was excellent, with generous helpings. Good, not gimmicky cooking.
