This was our 3rd return, this time with some wonderful VIP friends. We have also recommended Garga to many friends who visit Florence in the last 10+ years. The food was amazing as usual, but the Host/Waiter could not have been more abrupt, rude aggressive and dismissive. Sadly, we will think twice about returning and recommending in the future..

The octopus appetizer was excellent, however, the veal and sea bass were average at best. Such a nice atmosphere for a quiet dinner, but the food does not live up to the ambience.

Our dinner was a chance happening when out to greet friends from Lucca and passing by the brightly painted facility. A glance at the menu was an immediate draw with its creative use of citrus in its offerings. We found the selections, the setting and the overall dining experiences one the best we have had on our visits to Milan, SanRemo and Florence. It was much appreciated and I would encourage one and all to put it at the top of their dining list.

From the USA, the food was very good but the music made us want to leave. Loud, bands like “Kiss” glamour metal bands not that we dislike like it but “not” what we wanted to listen to at at a nice dinner in Florence!

I first had a delicious meal ant Garga over 10 years ago and definitely wanted to go back. I was not disappointed. The quality of the food and the ambiance were memorable. Freshness, originality and well presented make for a good meal. I will go back again. I only hope that the staff can explain the wines offered as opposed to just providing a brand wine which was overpriced. Still love the restaurant and the meals that they provide.

The employee came to our table late and served the food we ordered at once, as opposed to providing it sequentially to the other tables. The steak was overcooked, and the dessert I ordered was not served until we asked for the bill. Even after I requested the bill, it took too long to actually pay for it. We hope this is not racist

The food was great. The interior decor was neat and fashionable. Our server was wonderful. Our difficulty was with how loud the music was and the musical choices seem more suited to a nightclub. After two requests, the host did turn it down.
