6.5/10From the USA, the food was very good but the music made us want to leave. Loud, bands like “Kiss” glamour metal bands not that we dislike like it but “not” what we wanted to listen to at at a nice dinner in Florence!

9/10I first had a delicious meal ant Garga over 10 years ago and definitely wanted to go back. I was not disappointed. The quality of the food and the ambiance were memorable. Freshness, originality and well presented make for a good meal. I will go back again. I only hope that the staff can explain the wines offered as opposed to just providing a brand wine which was overpriced. Still love the restaurant and the meals that they provide.

4.5/10The employee came to our table late and served the food we ordered at once, as opposed to providing it sequentially to the other tables. The steak was overcooked, and the dessert I ordered was not served until we asked for the bill. Even after I requested the bill, it took too long to actually pay for it. We hope this is not racist

8/10The food was great. The interior decor was neat and fashionable. Our server was wonderful. Our difficulty was with how loud the music was and the musical choices seem more suited to a nightclub. After two requests, the host did turn it down.

10/10Garga had been recommended by two different friends, so we had to try it. It did not disappoint in any way. The service was congenial and fun and efficient. Absolutely excellent time!

9/10Artistic ambiance. Beautiful and crazy paintings, which make the experiance unforgetable. I was there a couple of years ago, and the food was extraordinary good. Maybe it a little bit more ordinary now, but still quite good. There were only tourists though.

10/10+1Went for my husband’s birthday. The food was the best we’ve had in Florence! We had the three specials; pasta, beef tartare and beef filet. It is summer truffle season. Amazing! Free limoncello and the best cheesecake we’ve ever had for dessert. The service was great. The ambience was great!

10/10From arrival, our party of 5 was made to feel welcome and even like members of an extended Italian family. Owner Nico waited on us personally, made expert suggestions (on wine, for example), and the food was uniformly superb . I’ll be back!

10/10We loved the food here! Nice, cosy atmosphere with great staff who were very attentive and friendly. There was a little confusion with paying the bill (as I paid through the app) although I thought this was dealt with well. Also the lemon sorbet was a bit too tart for my liking but the peach sorbet was amazing and would highly recommended the Raviolli!

10/10Amazing restaurant and out of the way from the busy Main Streets. The pastas are very creative and delicious. A good mix of tradition with some flare. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and the price was not expensive at all.

10/10This restaurant was FABULOUS. Our server, Adalina, was fantastic - she recommended a great bottle of wine and was on top of everything. Everything we ate, including the bistecca all Fiorentina, was phenomenal. We will absolutely recommend this place to others.

9.5/10Fantastic dishes and wine. Pulpo, pasta and cheesecake were to die for. They prefer cash and I was asked for it instead of my credit card, that was a surprise and they should advertise that.

10/10Garga is a party inside a hole in a wall along a tiny Florence alley. Service is delivered with genuine joy and pride. The food is elevated Florentine fair. The ambience is high-brow art and punk rock. Do not, do not, do not miss Garga if you're visiting Florence.

10/10Really sweet and gentle staff that lets you take your time and choose the meals you prefer. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, with intimate candle light and enough space between tables. The food was amazing, you could tell each ingredient was of quality and portion sizes also didn’t disappoint.
