not for the weak of heart. fresh and delicious local seafood specialties, non seafood lovers had very limited options. service was less than friendly until the waiter was convinced we were knowkedgeable and willing to try the local specialties the place takes pride in. if you love seafood and are willing to try unfamiliar flavours you will love it.

The food was well served and delicious. The Service was warm and welcoming. Worth visiting.

+1Great quality food and extensive wine list focusing on local varieties. The host was great, providing excellent attention during the meal. we waited a bit too long, but it was fine for us since everything was cooked at the moment.

We did have the best appetiser ever In Italy which was zucchini and leak with cheese fondu which was amazing. The food was excellent. The service was provided by the owner Mr Gianni who was very kind, professional and polite.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Trattoria Gianna by Bambi la mia cucina and the food, atmosphere and service were excellent.

It's a very small restaurant and you will likely receive a request to re-confirm from them via The Fork. And we can understand why. It's a privilege to be able to eat here. The menu is composed of mostly locally inspired dishes, each with unique interpretation by the chef. The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality, presentation and attention to detail. The owner, Maurizio Bambi, circulates to chat with the guests, explain about the wines and make sure everyone's satisfied. An overall fine dining experience. Highly recommended! And oh... Stanley Tucci ate here.

For all of us it was an outstanding experience in a beautiful tiny restaurant with a very friendly padrone and his staff and food of exceptional quality inspired by local traditional cuisine using lots of fresh herbs and the best ingredients Liguria offers.

We speak a little Italian, so we are always looking forward coming to our favourite place for vacation and learn some more… sadly everyone switches to English whenever they hear us struggling a little… not here! Ver friendly advice in Italian by the owner! We ate some wonderful Genovese specialties… great choice!

Nice find on a small street in Genova. Very homey atmosphere and great quality food. Very satisfied. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant.

Very small restaurant quite close to the Aquarium and Marina. Maurizio is a wonderful host - very kind and knowledgeable. We ate really well with both the taste and quality of food being excellent. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Lovely, cosy restaurant in the narrow lanes behind Piazza Cavour. Despite the lack of a common language we had an excellent meal with good quality house wine. A really enjoyable, authentic Italian experience.
