10/10This restaurant is amazing! Ate there 2 years ago and was excited to go back again and have it be just as wonderful! Food was amazing and the wine recommendation was perfect! The staff is fantastic! Highly recommend the florentine steak!

9/10The food is simply wonderful. Had the fresh pasta with sautéed beef cheeks with a leonardo beer. White beans and savoy cabbage as starters.

10/10Easy walk from historic area. Food was delicious. Nice wait staff, not only our waiter but the rest of the staff stopped by throughout the meal to check on us. We had the traditional prosciutto with melon appetizer which was perfect with heaps of the cured meat. Our two primi pastas were heavenly, the Gorgonzola gnocchi and the pasta with cow cheek sauce, meat was super tender. Our secundo was the grilled sausage with side of potatoes.

10/10The experience was across the board the best we had in Florence, simple and clean flavors. You are well fed but you won’t feel awful after eating a huge variety of dishes. Quality ingredients. Neighborhood vibe. The staff was all working as a team and were on top of everything. Nobody rushed you along, and the owner was keeping an eye out while enjoying the evening. Definitely a great choice.

10/10Our experience here was nothing less of amazing! The food, specifically the steak, was out of this world. Hands down the best steak I’ve had. The waiters were very helpful to us with understanding the menu and even gave us good wine recommendations. We ended our dine with complimentary limoncellos and I must say this Italian restaurant owes me nothing! 10’s across the board!

9/10We went for a late lunch which meant changeover in waiting staff. However, they were helpful and individually did their best to advise us of what would be best! The steak Florentine was melt in the mouth delicious.

9.5/10Went on the strength of Tripadvisor ratings. My son had the boar (despite my disapproval) and said it was the best meal he had eaten in Tuscany. I had Gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi. Delicious. And my children had the tiramisu which they loved. Lovely restaurant. Would recommend.

10/10I love the restaurant and the waiter. The waiter did hurry us through which we told him we were in no hurry. He sat around fighting time to kill before our social event. Also, we did not get the 20% discount we’re supposed to have gotten by booking through you. Nonetheless, excellent restaurant.

10/10We booked this restaurant mainly because we had reservations for a concert at the nearby Chiesa Santa Monaca, but we were delighted that the dinner was worth a trip in itself. Each of our dishes was prepared skillfully and the flavors were complex and interesting. The wine list was limited but we found a Chianti among the options that was decent if slightly overpriced. We noticed that other patrons were served a complimentary glass of limoncello or grappa that was not offered to us. Perhaps this was because we were using the 20% discount offer; we really enjoyed the meal in spite of that.

6.5/10Our dinner started out well. Our waiter was prompt and helpful and spoke much better English than we spoke Italian. The food was good. Not great, but good enough. There was an annoying blue light and chime that kept going off every few minutes near our table but other than that, the atmosphere was lovely. The coffee I ordered with dessert was cold...not even lukewarm... slightly warmer than refrigerator cold. I don't even know how you make a cold cappuccino. That's not so bad. Mistakes happen. But instead of just taking it back and getting me a hot one, our waiter gave an explanation that made no sense and brought me hot milk. I flagged another waiter who took it and brought it back seemingly very hot; but just the cup was hot. The coffee was still cold. Then they gave us the wrong check. Again, not a big deal, but then no one ever brought us the correct one. A disappointing finish to an otherwise ok meal. There are so many great restaurants in Florence. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

6/10We ate here 4 years ago, and ownership has obviously changed. We ordered wine and a meal with salads, and everything came to our table at the same time within five minutes of ordering. I had wild boar stew and my wife had beef stew. Both were way too salty. Both salads were iceberg lettuce - the only place in Florence we have received iceberg in two weeks. We were in and out of this place in 30 minutes. So much for having a dining experience. We will never return.

10/10This was a great little restaurant. We did have reservations and it was full. Food was very good. Staff was incredibly attentive and even suggested the perfect wine for our dinner and budget. Tiramisu was also excellent. We would go back

3.5/10We went here last year and it was great, but this year we came and were sat in the secondary area and it was terrible. No music or ambience at all. We wouldn’t have minded too much but the food was really awful. Lukewarm pasta that was under cooked.. it wasn’t particularly flavourful either. We were so disappointed. The food came out really quickly as well, which is somewhat questionable. We were in and out within an hour!!

9/10Started with the caprese which was delightful. Had pappardelle pasta three ways: with rabbit, beef guanciale, and wild boar. All three were delicious. The house wine paired very nicely.

10/10Great and friendly service, food and dessert was yummy. Started with prosciutto and melon and I got the Pappardelle with wild boar sauce as my main, with a side salad (literally a bowl of arugula and lettuce no dressing) overall pretty good.

8/10The meat and the truffle cream pasta were absolutely delicious. The Toscani wine was pretty good, too. And the service was fine. We were disappointed by the deserts (tiramisu and pana cotta) which we would not bother having should we return.

10/10Table for 10 ready-only 9 could come. Many different orders; great menu and service. The food was excellent. Wine/beer and dessert also great. We overstayed our reservation time and appreciated the waiter telling us they needed the tables-we appreciated it.
