3.5/10After my research, I went to a restaurant with high hopes and was completely disappointed. They brought us a completely burnt, ashen, dried meat. They literally ruined the meat. They even admitted the disgrace and tried to convince us by discounting the price like they were fooling a child. This is definitely not a place to go to eat meat, any food bought from the street is more delicious.

Buonasera, le ricordo che la bistecca da lei ordinata era stata servita in media/rossa cottura. Lei l’ha voluta ben cotta e , come spiegato, cuocendola perde il 90% del suo sapore. Ci dispiace della sua recensione negativa ma le assicuro che la nostra cicca è una prima scelta. Riguardo allo sconto, se un cliente non è contento si cerca di rimuovere sempre dal conto quello che non l’ha soddisfatto . La prossima volta si affidi allo chef così resterà super soddisfatto. Una buona serata.

9.5/10A quality trattoria in a quiet location. Our dinner here was one of the most enjoyable in Florence. The service is very attentive. I especially recommend you to try the Florentine Steak. Don't interfere with how they cook it, they know the best.

10/10Fantastic find. Wonderful staff served us the best Florentine steak and apps. Tasting selection of Parmesan cheeses and selection of salamis were great starters. Better than places twice as expensive. At least half the dinner crowd were local, and very friendly with tourists (like us)

9.5/10Only blocks away from all of the major attraction but as far from touristy as possible, I felt lucky to stumble across this place that felt like stepping in to an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. With an amazing staff and easily the best food we had in Florence, make sure to get a soup and any dessert. With a little music, this place should have a line out the door.

10/10+1This was one of the best meals of my life. Group of 10, tried almost all of the pasta dishes. So flavorful and unique. We all split the Florentine steak and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Desserts were sooo tasty. Split check 5 ways and it was under 100 euro. Crazy cheap for the quality!!

10/10An unassuming little restaurant very close to a large, tourist-y piazza that we never would have found had a friend not recommended it. We got there right at opening, and as a result their Il Peposo de Fornacini dell'Impruneta (a beef stew using a recipe from the Middle Ages) wasn't ready yet. But all the dishes we got, including a couple of pastas and a steak dish with balsamic and arugula, were terrific, and the service was very nice and friendly. I wish we had time to go again — we'd show up later!

10/10Icche c’è c’è is one of my favorite restaurants period. When family comes to visit I always make this the first night spot. It has a traditional Tuscan menu, small but great selection of wines, and certainly the best crème brûlée I’ve ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and appreciative of attempted Italian. I will be back soon!

10/10A friend who visits Florence often recommended we eat there. The food and service was incredible. Growing up in a butcher shop my brother and I have always been steak snobs and I can honestly say the steak was one of the best we have ever had. Thanks for a great meal and wonderful experience.

10/10Great restaurant. We first came here 30 yrs ago when it first opened and for several years thereafter. It is still in the family with a chef who prepares delicious food and an owner who continues to create a true Italian atmosphere.

8/10They were remarkably patient as the couple we were meeting there were 30 mins late. But they never made us feel rushed. The service was good and the food was all delicious. When we arrived at 8:30 the restaurant was full but the noise level was not a problem. We would go back.

9/10Went to Icche c’e c’e for dinner and we had a great evening. There were 3 of us. We had the crostini with chicken pate, caprese salad and sformatino. Entrees were pappardella with boar ragu, Tuscan beef stew and ossobuco. Everything was delicious! We even had dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. The restaurant is on a quiet street and we were able to have good conversation, good food and wine. Would definitely go back again.

8/10We really enjoyed visiting as a couple. Tucked away down a side street, the restaurant was quiet at 8pm but more lively by 9.30pm. The food was very good, and the service friendly. The courses come out very fast, which many may find a bonus- personally I thought it rushed the meal a little. A beautiful little dining place though.

10/10Truly a delight. Fantastic food in a true relaxed classic Italian atmosphere that could be from 40 years ago or 40 yrs from now. Each dish was not just perfect to the taste but beautifully presented by a warm attentive owner and staff. Will be back and recommending again and again

10/10This is now my favorite restaurant in Florence. Authentic cuisine, chef driven concept, small setting with good ambiance, tidy & delicious. Pietro went above and beyond taking care of my needs and wants. His suggestions for the courses & wine were perfect. It will top my list of suggestions for diners searching for a great meal!

10/10This little restaurant was very welcoming!! We ordered the Florentine beefsteak which was wonderful. They gave us a limoncello at the end of the meal which was enjoyed by our party.

10/10We absolutely loved Icche c'ė c'ė the food was so delicious the best we had in Italy the waitress was extremely nice, even helped me pronounce some words correctly in Italian. The tiramisu was out of this world. We will definitely go again!
