Food is really good (besides desert- do not order the cheesecake, it was frozen und gross). It was the 2nd time we have gone there but this time I have to admit, we did not like the Mafia feeling there. They have 2 menus (italian-engish) with 2 different prices. You do not get a bill / as the big boss calculates it all in hisoldschool calculator and shows you the number and then prints a bill with just one line the total amound. As the english menu differed from the italian menu - it was hard to define the total bill. Whatever he charged, was surely not correct... Also charging 4 Euros for tap water (!!!) not even bottled water was horrific. It just leaves a bad feeling being so obviously scammed by the owner and not receiving a standard bill. The service is suherb.

The food was very good, the seafood was fresh and properly cooked. Pleasant atmosphere. A wonderful experience in Livorno. We recommend spaghetti allo scoglio, cacciucco and panna cotta ????????????????

Restaurant has great food and is worth the price. Not as expensive as the other restaurants in the area, and good portion sizes. Make a reservation in advance seating area inside is small

Cacciucco was really good and the baccalà alla livornese exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant!

First of all we were welcomed well and given a table of our choice. They gave us ample of time to look at the menu and helped us understand the food before we ordered. We all ordered with high expectations since we booked it because it had 4000+ ratings. The food was total disappointment for 2 of us. We did expect a lot from them but it wasn't upto our expectations. Our third friend had to eat everything we ordered to divide between us 3. Portions were big but not very special or extremely tasty it was just ok. The restaurant was in bad shape. The fork in my place was rusted so i had to switch it. The whole place had a odor of seeping walls. This place did not live upto our expectations in terms of food or ambience or service. There wasn't any way that the service was so special that it makes it a worth while place to go.

Excellent restaurant, the bacala livornese was delicious! Great prices for the quality of dishes.
