10/10We had a super evening at this very nice trattoria. It is a home for admirers of the best Tuscan cuisine, do expect excellent, varied antipasti, good pasta and of course florentine steaks of the highest order. The waiter was completely charming and made a perfect, good value wine recommendation too.

10/10I learned about this place from Rick Steve’s who I trust unconditionally and I haven’t regretted it at all. It’s pretty small place and you have to make the reservation otherwise they will show you out which is fare. The food was delicious and served pretty fast. Big chunks of beef steaks can be ordered but they are fairly expensive. The menu to choose from is relatively big but you can get what you like. Good service and delicious food make this place attracting people.

6.5/10I visited the t-bone steak because they said it was delicious, but the older server responded as if it was annoying, and the other Western table asked if the food was okay and poured me drinks, but nothing was kind to us and I felt racist. I ordered a medium well-done steak, but it didn't come out evenly. The pasta also came out uncooked, so I asked them to cook it again. I went there with high expectations, but I was full of disappointment

9/10We have enjoyed l'Oriuolo every time we've visited Florence. This time, perhaps because of what we ordered, or perhaps it was an off-night for the kitchen, but the food - which was good - did not meet our high expectations. We still highly recommend Trattoria l'Oriuolo.

10/10Our best meal so far after a week in Italy. Every dish was wonderful. The Florentine steak was perfectly prepared, the spaghetti was fantastic, the wine list was highly localized and good quality for a great price. This restaurant lives up to its promise of authentic Toscana food and at an incredibly reasonable cost.

4/10The service was poor, waiting for around 1 hour for the food. And when asked the staff was rude about it. The bisteca was good, but all of the other places (we were a group of 11 in total) was not good and not up to the expectations. Also the staff wanted to push for more expensive food and it didn’t felt right.

4.5/10Staff came across as pompous and arrogant. They are very proud of their establishment. We ordered a filet to share and asked for it cooked medium. It came out rare or less. It was chewy too. The roasted potatoes were very good. The staff never asked why we didn't eat the steak.

5/10Too much fat for the steak and did not serve the bread. Instead of normal bread, we got served with fried circle-shaped bread but don’t know why they gave us this. And we should have got 20% off from the price but realized now that we did not get the discount for booking via The Fork. The potato was good tho.

9/10We went for the Florentine T-bone steak. And it was excellent, very flavorful and quite different than the steak I am used to (not fatty but very flavorful and meaty). The spaghetti d’Oriuolo was very good too. The Chianti Classico reserve was excellent partner for the steak.

10/10My husband and I shared the bistecca alla fiorentina (1.3kg steak), and asked for medium rare, although my husband made a point to ask for more rare than medium as it's his preference! When it came, sliced ready for us, it was a little too rare for me, The waiter immediately offered to take some pieces back for me and have them cooked a little longer. Yes it is expensive, but when in Florence...

10/10This was our first dinner in Florence this trip and it did not disappoint I had the pasta with duck and my husband had pappardelle with wild boar. Our friend who is vegetarian had no trouble finding delicious options. I would definitely go again.

5.5/10It seems like a variety of people from many different region comes to the place, yet a few workers are somewhat ignorant and not as kind as they could be. A few times i felt like they dont treat me as customer who came all the way here hoping to enjoy their steak, but rather someone who just comeby and spent some bucks so that they wouldnt have to care much. There are many other good places in florence so please be aware this is not the only place you wanna check out
