10/10This was such a lovely restaurant. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we got there. The food was sublime. Absolutely would go back. Can not recommend highly enough.

10/10From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. It was a honeymoon and the restaurant had left a present on our table for us. This was a beautiful touch. We started with an aperol spritz, followed by beef tartar, pasta and Iberian pork. Every course was beautifully cooked, balanced and presented. The service was excellent with a friendly and helpful attitude. They made a honeymoon meal extra special.

10/10This restaurant is worthy of the other positive reviews. I booked ahead and was greeted warmly on arrival. The restaurant was busy but there were enough staff to ensure we were all treated well. Speaking a variety of languages the staff took our order and provided drinks. The food arrived in good time and was excellent quality. It was a surprise to find such a quality restaurant in such a high tourist traffic area.

10/10A high-quality restaurant with outstanding service from a large team who are very professional and take a pride in their work. Modern and relaxing decor and a menu which is interesting and very tasty! Good choice of wine too. I really cannot fault this wonderful family-run restaurant. Touristy it is not!!

10/10This was a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff very friendly & welcoming, the food a delight to eat. Would highly recommend for that something a little different to the average trattoria experience. A family business where it is evident that everyone works hard to make dining out enjoyable. 9.5/10My wife and I booked a table at 'La botte' based on a recommendation from the owner of the B&B we were staying in (Il folletto del Lago) and we were not disappointed with the tip. Service was very attentive and professional with good advice given when asked. The star of the evening was most definitely the food, where each dish surprised us in the way it was prepared and presented. The finishing touch was a Bill that was very democratic (65€/pp) for what was an excellent meal composed of aperitif, starter, main, dessert, water, 1 glass of wine, one aged grappa and a coffee. We will definitely be going back here on our next visit to Stresa and would recommend it without hesitation!

8.5/10+3Friendly hostess & waitors who can speak English. The dishes were delicious, and coulourful with a modern and creative touch. We had to order extra side dishes to complete a plate of pork meat with very little vegetables. But the Iberian pork pluma was good, almost like roast beef. I had the fried fish wirh tempura veges and fries in betweenehich very crispy and yet soft. The desserts were pleasant surprises and a real treat to the eyes and the taste buds.
