Food was impeccable. Service was attentive and punctual, however lacked the finesse expected for the quality of the food. For example I had to specifically ask that the drinks glasses be cleared when they were empty and on the side of the table. The hostess appeared to be treating the customers like in a tourist trap. It was also not pleasant being obviously aware that our waiter and the hostess were arguing.

Absolutely fantastic experience!!! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant — perfect for a relaxed evening. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The wine, a 2020 Barolo, paired perfectly with the food. The service was fast but never rushed. We truly enjoyed the entire experience!

The food tasted salty was disappointed Lacked flavour we had a bottle of white wine we was given a cold sleeve and when my husband went to pour it the bottle fell though the sleeve half the wine went on the floor no replacement wine was offered It was there sleeve that did not fit French fries were potatoe skins Busy restaurant but would not return nice ambiance staff good food disappointing We were looking forward to the meal Went to a Michelin restaurant night before cheaper and was definitely first class

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Trattoria La Botte. We share foie gras with delicious bread and a ravioli dish, both delicious. I can’t wait return.

Fish fry with veggies were very good. Homemade gnocchi were amazing. Enjoyed the pasta. They had our favorite wine from Puglia…Susumaniello at a very good price. Service was excellent ! Too bad we discovered it on our last day.

This was such a lovely restaurant. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we got there. The food was sublime. Absolutely would go back. Can not recommend highly enough.

The food was delicious! The service was very unfriendly. Compared to the service we had at Lo Stornello the evening before, we felt very unwelcome.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. It was a honeymoon and the restaurant had left a present on our table for us. This was a beautiful touch. We started with an aperol spritz, followed by beef tartar, pasta and Iberian pork. Every course was beautifully cooked, balanced and presented. The service was excellent with a friendly and helpful attitude. They made a honeymoon meal extra special.

This restaurant is worthy of the other positive reviews. I booked ahead and was greeted warmly on arrival. The restaurant was busy but there were enough staff to ensure we were all treated well. Speaking a variety of languages the staff took our order and provided drinks. The food arrived in good time and was excellent quality. It was a surprise to find such a quality restaurant in such a high tourist traffic area.

The food and service were excellent. I had the cod starter, risotto primo, and Iberian pork secondi. All fantastic!

A terrific experience. Family run with pleasant setting, attentive hospitality and food that was beautifully presented and tasted awesome. First night of new seasonal menu and all first and second courses were outstanding.

A high-quality restaurant with outstanding service from a large team who are very professional and take a pride in their work. Modern and relaxing decor and a menu which is interesting and very tasty! Good choice of wine too. I really cannot fault this wonderful family-run restaurant. Touristy it is not!!

As foodies, we love an authentic restaurant where we can sample the local cuisine. This was incredible and such a great experience and added to our trip in Stresa, the best restaurant we tried!

Very good restaurant! The food was amazing, great combination of tastes. I particlaurly enjoyed a chockolate dessert which melted in the mouth! Excellent service!
