One of the best places to try the Bistecca Fiorentina in Milan! The price range is good in relationship to the quality of the food. Staff are friendly and the service was quick. Super recommended!!!

After we arrived, we found that the prices on the menu were significantly higher than those on thefork, about 20% higher. I think this was due to deception or oversight by the boss or thefork. Because I discovered this issue after arriving at the store, I had no time to rebook another store, so I had no choice but to continue dining at this place. In addition, my friend and I agree that a lot of salt is added to the food.
Trattoria lo StracottoGood morning, as I tried to explain to you immediately after your arrival, your reservation was made on February 19th. The new menu for the 2026 season has been online on all platforms, including the website, since February 16th. No, most prices have remained unchanged; the others have seen an 8% increase due to the increase in raw materials over the last 6 months. Regarding the salt in the dishes, it would have been enough to point this out to the waiting staff, who would certainly have remedied the situation or offered alternatives.

The experience was overall really good! Lovely ambiance, servers had great recommendations. The main-event “the food” was really good! The Florence steak had a very tender and distinguished taste! I felt the seasoning could be done more evenly over the entire cut steak. The sides were well prepared and could’ve elevated the whole flavour experience even more.. if they’d use a larger palate of herbs. Consistently excellent Florentine fare, we visit on repeat every year it is one of our absolute favourites and also a great spot for people watching !

Just excellent. We have eaten here several time 5 years ago and now in 2024. Food and service are just great. They took the effort to cook the steak Florentine more medium in stead of the usual ultra rare as is customary which was appreciated the filet was also excellent as was the gnocchi with pesto.

We found this restaurant on our first visit to Florence in 2022. We enjoyed it so much, we booked to eat here again in our return.Very good home cooked food at a great price. Service was also very good.

I Have been to this place many times. The food is always great. Wonderful service. If you can sit outside its wonderful in the evening. Visiting from California. I dine here everytime I visit.

It was our last night in Florence and we wanted to make an early night of it. This restaurant had an earlier opening than most 18:00 which suited us well. The service was friendly and attentive. The bruschetta was the best we had tasted all week. The freshness of the tomatoes and basil just popped. We tried zucchini blossoms for the first time and were well pleased. They were reminiscent of tempura-light and crisp. We recommended these last 2 dishes to the guests seated beside us. They were very pleased too. We had the lasagna and tirimisu- both very good. Wished we had tried this restaurant earlier in our stay.

One of our regulars, always outstanding food wine and entire experience and so centrally located - we went back a few times this May trip and we have really high expectations. Go try it you will not be disappointed !

Food was good, servers were really friendly but I felt a bit rushed. I got my second dish within 5minutes of finishing the first one. A small break would have been nice. Everything tasted very good. Took the spinach as a side, it was a bit much as it was a whole plate full. It just got a bit dull about half way through. Overall good experience though.

It was absolutely fantastic - the food the ambiance! The food! Highly recommend. Not too prices and worth every penny. Best Tiramisu I have had in years!

Cousin is good. But they don't have any tea and juice. We had to order some water for our daughter. She is seven. Waiters were not very friendly.
Trattoria lo Stracottohi, thank you for your review, i just want to explain why we don't serve any juices, teas or cappuccino. we are a Traditional restaurant,we follow the "italian" way to eat, so usually we don't drink juice, tea or cappuccino while we have dinner or lunch.
