This is the second time I have been to Memmo, last year being the first time. Yes, our small group of students and myself and my husband as chaperones, are American. The misconception is that all Americans have no couth or taste, I read it in some reviews here even. I would say that I am particular because I always prepare meals unless I am traveling. I am a good cook. Eating at a restaurant is a treat, so I do not take it lightly. We had 6 in our group last year, and nine this year. While a group of students is often received with an unknown trepidation, I would say that after a moment, we were very welcomed and served with kindness and patience. We all immensely enjoyed our meals, sampling many items within the group. Sea bass, salmon, prawns and calamari, lasagna, cacio e Pepe, ravioli, pizza, fries, eggplant parmigiana, cesare and mista salads, pannacotta, fresh strawberries with panna, tiramisu, cheesecake, and thrilled with our meals… grazie mille! Our service was excellent. The restaurant is clean, cool, and well maintained. The food was ok. Most dishes we ordered were good, the steak was a chewy flank though. I guess I was expecting something a little more tender. It was chewy. Everything else was good.

The food was really good probably the best food we have had so far on our trip to Rome, the staff are great and it’s a lovely relaxed place. 100% would recommend

This was our second dinner at Memmo’s. After booking with ‘The Fork’ we were lucky enough to get our preferred table. Once again the selected pasta dish was superb… cooked to perfection. So glad we came back. Our waitress was engaging, accommodating and made us feel right at home.

Just needed a quick meal and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. The pasta dishes were excellent, reasonably priced and the outdoor seating provided a nice ambience. Will probably go again when we have more time to properly appreciate what they have to offer.
