Exquisite food. Unique flavors

My 5th visit to this restaurant and my last. Made a reservation but the waiter wouldn’t listen. Kept trying to ‘fit us in ‘ .eventually he realised. He wasn’t listening. I started with sciatt and the order was wrong. The waiter hadn’t listened properly. I then ordered beef cheek, the most expensive item. It wasn’t soft, full of fat. Not good value. When paying the bill I pointed out the fact that I hadn’t had something on the bill I was being charged for and yet I was still charged! This was a birthday present for my guest. Food was poor, staff lacked professionalism and it was overpriced. I won’t recommend and I won’t return which is a shame

We wanted a traditional Valtelina meal & that’s what we got - mine was blueberry gnocchi which sounds an odd combination but was delicious. They also put a young waiter on my table who could speak English for my benefit.

Excellent trattoria ambience in the centre of Sondrio

The restaurant looked very nice. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was fine. I personally found the experience underwhelming as there was no atmosphere everything was very modern and tables to close together.

We always eat at Olmo when we are in Sondrio. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

The food and wine was excellent, the portion sizes were very large but more importantly a very enjoyable dinner. The waiter we had seemed a bit nervous with his lack of English and our lack of Italian but it did not stop a great evening. We spoke to the owner who was very helpful and reccomended a couple of local wines we were able to purchase and take home.
