This is a lovely Trattoria with spectacular views of the countryside. The food was excellent typical Tuscan food and the portions were generous. We were happy with everything we ate and wii be back.

We walked up to Omero from the center of Florence. Beautiful walk via the Bardini Gardens. We had reserved so had a table with stunning view. Food was excellent.

Great food in an AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant. Excellent view out the windows in a building that is a short taxi ride from the center of old Florence (yet you feel like you are truly outside of the tourist trap area). Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended by our tour guide and now highly recommended by us, too.

Very nice restaurant, filled with local people and good food. Extremely noisy, so don't go for an intimate date dinner. Service good, but wait time between courses a bit long because restaurant was full. Desserts delightful, especially tiramisu and creme brulee. Only complaint about food was dry and tough deep fried " fritta mista" and fried rabbit. The fried cod had been handled with care and was exceptionally good. Pastas were good, too.

This was our 3rd time dining at Da Omero over 10 years. Always a treat! Wouldn’t think of visiting Florence without a meal at Da Omero. Fantastic views and delicious food.

Surprise favorite in a small town just up the hill behind Florence. Walked there. Lovely evening, exceptional fun and food. Want to go back.

We celebrated my 65 birthday here in 2015. They made me feel so special. Even sang Happy Birthday to me in Italian. It was wonderful!!! So when we found ourselves in Florence again we knew we needed to return. The food again was delicious! The young waiter that served us in 2015 is now managing the RESTUARANT ! It was like coming home.

The view from the terrace was excellent. There was a nice mix of locals and tourists. Drank the Omero label Chianti ... delicious! Dinner was one of the best meals we had in Italy!! Highly recommend.

Disappointment 100%! Only wine was good 😂. It has nothing to do with great toscanese food experience. Bad!

We walked up from Florence over 2.5 miles. It is uphill, so we were ready to sit back and relax. Beautiful view and wonderful meal.

I have dined here with a large group several times. The patio gives the beautiful ambience of being out of Florence in the Tuscan hills even though it is just outside the city. The staff are welcoming and hardworking. The food is delicious- try the fries along with your traditional Tuscan food. Peach and burrata salad is also lovely. Thank you Antonio for having us back!

I went twice with my parents who were staying nearby. Wonderful view, excellent food and service. I highly recommend this place as a good escape from the city with all the hits on the menu.

The owner and waiter were very nice. They gave us a table overlooking the Tuscan hills. The service was prompt but not rushed. The waiter recommended the dishes, wine pairings and the grappa. He even anticipated our needing a taxi. It is in an unforgettable location across the street from Galileo’s villa where he spent the last years of his life.

This is a small grocery store with the dining room to the back, high above Florence with SPECTACULAR VIEWS. We first came here 25 years ago after reading about it in Travel and Leisure Magazine. We have referred many friends to Omero when visiting Florence. Take a taxi up, and it’s not a long walk back to Piazza Michelangelo… through MORE stunning views.

I wish I could rate this 11/10! It was the best food we had in Florence. Service and ambiance were excellent! We are planning to go back tonight because no other place compares!!

We were visiting Firenze and we met a couple of neighbourhood residents out walking their dog. They recommended Trattoria Omero as a local gem and we were delighted to dine there. We enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. It made for a wonderful meal.
