This was our 3rd time dining at Da Omero over 10 years. Always a treat! Wouldn’t think of visiting Florence without a meal at Da Omero. Fantastic views and delicious food.

We celebrated my 65 birthday here in 2015. They made me feel so special. Even sang Happy Birthday to me in Italian. It was wonderful!!! So when we found ourselves in Florence again we knew we needed to return. The food again was delicious! The young waiter that served us in 2015 is now managing the RESTUARANT ! It was like coming home.

The view from the terrace was excellent. There was a nice mix of locals and tourists. Drank the Omero label Chianti ... delicious! Dinner was one of the best meals we had in Italy!! Highly recommend.

I have dined here with a large group several times. The patio gives the beautiful ambience of being out of Florence in the Tuscan hills even though it is just outside the city. The staff are welcoming and hardworking. The food is delicious- try the fries along with your traditional Tuscan food. Peach and burrata salad is also lovely. Thank you Antonio for having us back!

I went twice with my parents who were staying nearby. Wonderful view, excellent food and service. I highly recommend this place as a good escape from the city with all the hits on the menu.

The owner and waiter were very nice. They gave us a table overlooking the Tuscan hills. The service was prompt but not rushed. The waiter recommended the dishes, wine pairings and the grappa. He even anticipated our needing a taxi. It is in an unforgettable location across the street from Galileo’s villa where he spent the last years of his life.

This is a small grocery store with the dining room to the back, high above Florence with SPECTACULAR VIEWS. We first came here 25 years ago after reading about it in Travel and Leisure Magazine. We have referred many friends to Omero when visiting Florence. Take a taxi up, and it’s not a long walk back to Piazza Michelangelo… through MORE stunning views.

We were visiting Firenze and we met a couple of neighbourhood residents out walking their dog. They recommended Trattoria Omero as a local gem and we were delighted to dine there. We enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. It made for a wonderful meal.

We ate at this restaurant three times. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The ambience was beautiful with a lovely view. The food was excellent but we wished there had been a little more choice. High lights were the pear with goat cheese appetizer and the peach salad

The scenery is fantastic. You have the opportunity to look at the view of hills stacked with houses. The bistecca was flavourful, tortalini was unique, and the salade was refreshing. The service is fast as well. Overall, the experience as a whole is something you can't miss.

When you visit Italy and especially cities like Florence you know that you have a variety of restaurants among of you can find good food and beautiful surrounding. Nevertheless there aren’t so much places like this one, full of real history and tradition. The place is outstanding close to the Michelangelo’s square. The food is delicious and the service as well. Try to believe!

The restaurant itself was very good and the service impeccable but rather out of the way from our hotel in Florence centre. We had decided to walk as it was a lovely evening when we started out even though the gps said it would take about 40 min. However the rain came, not the fault of the restaurant but still literally dampened our enjoyment. Luckily the taxi back came quickly.

What a treasure! We walked from downtown Florence, and what a treat awaited us. The dining room is lovely, with spectacular views. Food is delicious. So glad we were told to come to Omero!

The menu has unique dishes and classics. We had the peach + burratta antipasto and the tortelli filled with pears and pecorino. I had the rabbit and my boyfriend had the manzo with bacon. Everything was delicious. We also had the panna cotta and cheesecake. Both delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices are above average, but I feel that it is worth it. Surely with the fork discount, it is more affordable. The restaurant is located outside of Florence. It has a lovely view overlooking the city from the Porta Romana side. There is no restaurant parking, but you can park your car on the street. Otherwise, you need a taxi to arrive.
