Food was good but overpriced. The place was so noisy though, we could t wait to leave. Too bad

We picked this restaurant based on very strong reviews. We reserved a table for 4 day of but the reservation came through as 2- unknown mistake. They accommodated us anyway but told us we’d have to eat quickly. We sat next to a group of thirty people. Service was very slow the big group was horribly loud and the highly reputed bean dish had zero salt. We could barely hear each other speak and we had to leave our table to pay the bill because we couldn’t get service. As we walked out the front of the restaurant was quiet with empty tables. We wish they hadn’t accommodated us, it was our only bad dining experience in Italy.

The reservation mistake was on your side, as it was made for two people instead of four. Despite this, we still accommodated you, even though the restaurant was fully booked, being a busy weekend. The group seated next to you was not thirty people, but eighteen—and yes, a group of eighteen can be noisy. Unfortunately, we had no alternative tables available at that time, precisely because of the incorrect reservation. The only table for four we could offer was reserved again at 9:30 pm. As mentioned, you were kindly asked to leave by 9:30 pm, but you actually got up at 9:15 pm. The empty tables you noticed at the front were for the next seating and were about to be assigned to guests with reservations. Once again, we’d like to point out that the issue originated from the reservation made incorrectly

Picked from trip advisor and glad we did, although a bit hidden , really good food and wine choices and you can tell you are in the right place with all the Italian language being spoken. Staff were really good with food choice questions and myself and my family had a great evening with plenty of free lemoncello consumed with the staff at the end of the night, would definitely go back again

Really nice place, off beaten track. Very relaxed atmosphere and service, so if you are in a rush might not be for you. Food was lovely and cooked perfectly

It is a lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. People are so nice there and the food awesome! Try the Eggplant Flan and the crostini with chicken liver to start. And then goes to the tripa à la Fiorentina, pasta ao ragu or any meat options.

Very friendly trattoria, perhaps a bit expensive, but we enjoyed our dinner very much. We had a delightful young lady as our server. She epitomized the vibe of the restaurant.

The starters were fantastic, and so was one of our main meals (the veal) - the dish was delicious! The cod we had with the tomato sauce was a bit of a disappointment however ☹️ Italian tomato sauce is normally incredibly delicious, but this was very basic to say the least. Lacked any depth of flavour, and tastes like something I could’ve made in 10 minutes, using a tin of tomatoes!

All of the food was excellent including the Florentine steak for 2. The price for the food and a bottle of wine was very reasonable. However, the service was very average especially at the end of the meal. Our waiter asked us if we wanted dessert but left and did not bring dessert menus back. It also took too long to get the checkat the table, but we did get complimentary lemoncello and cookies.

Small traditional restaurant serving Tuscan food to die for … in the menu you will find different dishes than your normal touristic restaurant but all the food was amazing so worth visiting to experience good Tuscan food.

Very mediocre food. My wife couldn’t eat her chicken ‘nuggets’. The waiter was nice and gave us a free drink.
Trattoria PandemonioDear Tony, we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your dinner, but we’d like to clarify a misunderstanding: our menu clearly states "boneless fried chicken with fried artichokes", a traditional Florentine dish that we’ve been serving for years with great care. This is absolutely not chicken nuggets, which have nothing to do with Tuscan cuisine and can only be found in places like McDonald’s here in Italy. Frankly, comparing one of our traditional dishes to fast food is quite inappropriate. In any case, our staff asked if your wife would like to change the dish, and you said there was no problem. We also made sure not to charge you for it. We’re sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations, but a minimum of attention and respect for the kind of food we offer is, in our opinion, the least one could have.

Jazzy fun vibe, but spotty service with average and overpriced food (charged us 70 euro for 1.2 kilo of Tuscan steak, really?).

Tuttavia, ci teniamo a precisare alcuni punti: avete già lasciato due recensioni negative relative alla stessa serata, lamentandovi del prezzo della bistecca alla fiorentina. Il prezzo della bistecca con il filetto è chiaramente indicato nel nostro menu: 59 euro al chilo. La vostra bistecca pesava 1,2 kg, come da voi confermato quando ve l’abbiamo mostrata al tavolo prima della cottura. Il totale, facendo un semplice calcolo, è di 70,80 euro. A Firenze è possibile trovare prezzi inferiori, ma noi puntiamo tutto sulla qualità delle materie prime e sulla cura nella preparazione. Crediamo che siano proprio questi valori ad averci fatto guadagnare le migliaia di recensioni positive che raccontano la nostra bistecca e il nostro lavoro con entusiasmo e affetto.

We had the Florentine steak, potatoes and a simple salad and it was a great meal. Our server was amazing and sweet. A wonderful experience for sure!

We came here with my daughter. We are so tired of visiting the city and this place gives us a chill vibe. We felt like we were in home. Service staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very delicious and that tiramisu was bellissimo 😍😍

Main dishes were wonderful, however our 2 side dishes (fagioli and potatoes) were not hot nor warm. I would have preferred that . Great service

The food was outstanding, however the service was quite poor. The side dish we ordered never came. We felt like we were forgotten when it came time to ordering dessert, to request the check, and to pay. Please hire more servers!

Crowded restaurant with no ambiance. It was hard to get the waiter’s attention. The food was a bit hit and miss. Place seemed like a tourist trap.

It was our anniversary and the waiters helped us celebrate it by bringing out a slice of cake accompanied with wedding music , bravo ! Great place overall . Il Chibo belissimo
