Good location for break after major attractions. Food quality and presentation was excellent. Has a local bistro atmosphere and relaxing ambiance with friendly waiter. Staff are not intrusive and leave you to enjoy the excellent cuisine.

Good location right next to the ponte vecchio. Very good menu selection, I recommend the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu and the parpadelle with mushrooms

Had the beef tenderloin. Requested cocked medium warm and pink in the middle. Got it really rare. Location hot and stuff, no A/C. Waitstaff acted like we were bothering them. Not very pleasant, maybe just anti-American or little English. Usually get bread as soon as you order. Got nothing until food came. Brought EVOO but no bread and no plate. Had better steak and service at restaurant a couple blocks away previous night.

Booked for 11.30am for lunch before a visit to Uffizi as location looked good. Restaurant clearly advertises 11am opening time. We arrived at 11.30am, chair placed in the doorway. Staffmember (male, tall, slim) sat in the dining room looking at his phone. We called hello to get his attention, he barely looked up from his phone to shout what we believe was an indication that they were closed. We tried to continue to explain we had a reservation. He didn’t get up to offer an explanation or apology and wouldn’t make eye contact. My husband climbed over the chair in the door to go over and show our reservation and only at this point did he accept we did have a booking and moved the chair from the doorway for me to enter. He was fairly brisk in all interactions so we gathered his poor customer service wasn’t exclusive to us! Shame that this was the start to the visit as the meal was fairly good.

What a great find! I visit Firenze frequently and typically avoid the centro storico tourist trap. Wandering my way back to the unhurried Oltrarno, I caught site of the charming store front and stopped to check the menu on a whim. Offering typical Tuscan fare and. number of favorite dishes I hadn’t had thus, I made a reservation for dinner and was not disappointed. Despite being just at the turn on to the Ponte Vecchio, there was no cheap looking “tourist menu” (always a good sign). The food was fresh, invitingly presented, delicious and unlike the touristy places, so reasonable priced! A great dining experience now added to my list of Firenze Favorites!

The huge steak was delicious as well and all the food. Wine was equal to the food. Very chilled atmosphere for the customers, but the waiters were very professional. Our waiter was awesome and helped us order in the right way for authenticity purposes. I don’t recall his name but we kept joking about how he was going to have to help us eat the rest of the steak. Haha 9/10 overall for us.

My partner booked this restaurant as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. The food was fantastic and the service was very good. I had a wonderful fresh pasta dish here after a delicious ham and cheese board platter. We re-visited the restaurant to share a bistecca (T-bone steak) and it was very good quality (and huge!).

Food was very good. the waiter, however, was very rude. He acted as if we were a burden, laughed at me daughter when she tried to speak Italian, and when she could not finish her gnocchi because she was full, he got upset. He asked if she didn't like it, and she told him it was great but she was full. He glared at her, grabbed the plate and said "you don't like it" and walked away. In a city known for its tourists, the waiter sure did not make us feel welcome.

We had a wonderful meal here for our first night in Florence. The customer service was unmatched and we were recommended a great bottle of wine which only cost around €30. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

A welcoming and cheerful trattoria with friendly staff and excellent food. Plenty of choices on the menu, both traditional and innovative. Would definitely eat here again if we ever get back to Florence! Highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant, the waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu to be able to make a food choice. Nice experience if you wanna try local meat.

Great dinner with my family (wife, 5 and 3-year-olds). Steak was just delicious, so was my wife’s truffle ravioli. Kids very happy with their pizza and bolognese. Service friendly and thoughtful. Very good experience.

What a gem right by Ponte Vecchio! Delish Tuscan food and owner warmly greeted us with a glass of Rose with our foods. Had the local beef stew Chiante, Fruit de Mare & spaghetti bolognese. The Chiante was so flavorful. Owner said it slow-cooked for 5 hours with a touch of red wine. The Fruit de Mare was one of the best eaten, without the seafood taste and a touch of white wine. Best meal in Florence thus far!

Second time dining here. As tourists from the U.S., we took the suggestions of our waiter. The food was delicious, 6 pasta dishes were shared and no one was disappointed. Homemade pasta with truffle and pear was the most popular of our group, but strozzoli with chilies and tuscan wild boar meat pasta dishes were a close second. Great meal to start our visit!

Excellent pasta dishes - all 4 of us had something different, & everything was delicious. We also had 2 bottles of the house red which was very drinkable.

We had an excellent dinner! Our waiter was fabulous. He made many recommendations on wine and entrees. We ordered the florentine steak which came out on a sizzling plater. We really enjoyed the evening and never felt rushed. The river view outside the restaurant was stunning. I highly recommended!
