I had steak with mushroom sauce. The sauce was too rich for my taste but the steak was nice. My husband had the mixed fried fish which was just ok. The choice of wines by the glass was non existent and I had the 1 available. It was not nice at all. The table next to us were very noisy. The staff were not helpful. I guess sometimes you just get a bad night. Perhaps others had a better experience?

This was our first night in Venice and it was close to our hotel. Not directly on the Grand Canal so it is much quieter. Service was excellent along with the food. Dessert and aperitivo were provided free as the secondi took a bit longer to come out. The fork discount was added automatically as well.

Stumbled across this restaurant walking from Rialto bridge and can say it’s was hands down the best experience we have had in Venice this far. To start, we had the tuna tartar and the octopus on truffle cream. Wow. I had a linguine with sea bass, capers, tomato’s which was delicious. The pyramid chocolate was unlike I’ve ever had. Service was top notch, Garry was very attentive, friendly and personable. If you ever find yourself in Venice, this restaurant is a must.

A spectacular place, nice and quiet , when you can get a delicious spaghetti bolognese and carbonara. A second course we gat the tagliata di manzo, and brest of chicken on the grill which was wonderful! The service very nice . Thank you guys for everything

Excellent dining experience with helpful outdoor fans -- important in August. Definitely get the capellaci -- they were excellent. The grilled vegetables as an appetizer were a disappointment. Excellent choice of wines. The bill did say "tip not included" -- in English -- not Italian. We ignored that.

Had dinner tonight on recommendation of The Fork. Small menu but enough selection. We ordered tomato bruschetta for appetizer. 10 euro for 4 small slices of stale bread. Should have known since the complimentary buns they brought to table was the same stale, chewy bread. For dinner we had zuppa di pesche, seafood linguine and pasta aglio & olio. Food was good but because the bread was awful, you couldn’t soak up the sauce as we Italians call “scarpetta”. My main issue was the service. The restaurant was not busy. They were quick to sit you down and take your order but once they brought your meals, you never saw them again. No one came to ask if the meal was good, any extra drinks, etc but I’m not sure if this is how restaurant service is all over Italy. They also charged 3 euro cover charge per person so this probably explains why the lack of customer service as they automatically get tipped. Thank god we had the 20% off deal that was offered through The Fork app

Our server was Antonio and he treated us with so much love and care, that we felt like home. The food waiting time was quick, warm and full of flavors. We were looking for a place with authentic venezian food and we were able to find it in here!! The ambience is perfect because is private and the restaurant is within the venician beautiful houses. It was an unforgettable experience!

Both of the pastas were really nice. The grilled chicken was €17 for 1 chicken breast with no side other than rocket. Green salad was very basic with no dressing, bit of a disappointment, and was served about 10 mins after we got our food so we didn’t think it was coming anymore. The younger waiters in black were the most helpful and friendly. Others seemed impatient and rushed us, despite our booking being at 20:45 and the restaurant advertised to close at 23:00. At the end we were given our bill and it was really overemphasised that we should give a tip. He even went on to say that they “recommended 10%, 15% or 20%”. We usually always tip and still left a small amount this time, but it just made us feel uncomfortable practically being asked to tip. Not only this but he gave the bill directly to me and then asked, is something wrong as soon as I looked at it. I think he was waiting for me to argue that they hadn’t applied The Fork discount, but at that point I just wanted to leave!

HI First : since you took the menu of the day, first course, second course and salad are included for only €17,5 all, obviously the portion is not the same as on the mainMenu! second: the discount TheFork does not include the menu of the day or even drinks! third: it is our duty to always ask all customers if everything went well and if they need anything, and to explain that the tip for the waiter is not included on the invoices, and if they like to give it. However, we thank you and wish you a good continuation

The restaurant's interior decoration is acceptable, but the outdoor dining area is the public toilet on the island, which is quite a pity. The price is a bit high. The staff are very enthusiastic, all handsome young men!

We had the special pasta of the night, prepared ina large round cheese block with shaved truffles. Amazing! Shots of limoncello provided to the group after dinner for a bonus. What a great experience!

Nice restaurant on a small plaza in the heart of Venice. Food was delicious but portions were a little small. Lively atmosphere, a little too lively the night we were there due to a large group being fairly boisterous. However the location appears to be quiet in general. Would recommend
