Good was delicious, definitely worth going to. There are other restaurants in the area that had good ratings but totally disappointed us. Not the case at this place. Every dish we got was tasty, go and enjoy!

Reserved for two but friends came along at last moment and restaurants accommodated six of us. Basic good trattoria food.

Poor service. Unattentive. Didn’t feel welcome. Food was good, hard to screw that up in Italy!

The outside seating area was pleasant. Although it wasn't crowded, it took quite a while for the waiter to take our order. First, they forgot the water. Then the oil and vinegar for the salad (iceberg lettuce!) Although the assistant waiter to care to trim and debone the fish for me tableside, I encountered many bones as I was eating it. My fish was very fresh and tasted fine, but my husband's veal dish had a tasteless, oily gravy on top and the veal itself was not up to par. My side of vegetables, while tasty, were also oily. Do not recommend!

Nice cosy restaurant off the beaten track with good food. The restaurant was good with the children.

Very pleasant evening. Good quality food. I had the sardines with onions and polenta. Very good. Had a pasta dish to follow. Good local wine and very good value.

We went for lunch but were disappointed we quality of food and indoors was stuffy and over crowded. More a place for locals looking for unexceptional food at a reasonable price.

This is our first time in Italy and this restaurant helped us put together meals that we wanted and the chef did a fabulous job making shrimp and noodles with olives, basil and butter it was perfect. We also enjoyed a steak with seared vegetables that was cooked perfect and very flavorful. Perfecto!

Delicious traditional Venecian food in a comfortable environment with excellent service. This was my third visit to Storica, looking forward to my fourth!

The food was fine, but the employees were quite rude. Especially if you are a family, I would recommend finding somewhere else where they don’t treat you poorly.

The restaurant was autentic, the food was good and there were good lokal dishis. Good service.

The ambiance was pleasant. Locals were there. The tiramisu was excellent as were the scallops. The spaghetti pomodoro was just ok. The staff questioned our reservation, as if they were expecting someone else. We are Americans with an Italian surname, I’m not sure if that was the confusion. We were seated and treated well but curtly. When I asked a question in my limited italian the young woman on staff looked at me like I was offending her somehow. The older staff did try to be friendly.

I was recommended this place by a local but I was crammed in to a corner, ignored and the food was mediocre. It was also expensive for what it was. Avoid.

We arrived on time but it took a while for them to bring us the menu. We got the antipasti (only one dish) after one hour of arriving. The annoying part is that after us a party of four arrived and sat in front of us, ordered after us, and got their food (4 dishes) before us (1 dish). When I mentioned this to the waiter he said that it was because our dish was prepared in the moment ( carpaccio). After that the experience was soured. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. Very disappointing experience.

A wonderful dining experience. Superb food expert service - a real joy of a no-pressure dining experience. I commend this restaurant to any "foodie visitor to Venice. Great staff who make the whole experience a joy.

We have been to Trattoria Storica many times over the years. We've always enjoyed it and have brought many friends. One of our favorite neighborhood places.

Delicious freshly prepared food. Where the locals eat too it seemed. And lovely staff and service. In a quiet part of Cannaregio which is lovely. Close to the Jesuit church

We booked very late, but were lucky to get a table for 9 persons. Even if we've been too early, we did get a very warm welcome and our table was ready immediately. The menu offers a great choice and after a very tasty dinner, everyone was satisfied. Great place to spend a nice evening with a very fine Menu.

Great find serving excellent fish, pasta and meat dishes. Slightly out of the very centre, but still only 10min walk from Rialto. House red wine excellent and all in all a very memorable meal.

Good food, at a very decent price for the city. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating and relaxed atmosphere. Very busy with locals (that must be a good sign)

Nice little restaurant in a quiet area of Venice to enjoy a good dinner and company; friendly waiting staff; excellent pasta with the lobster!! Recommended!!!

This restaurant is located in a not too crowded alley of Cannaregio. Seafood is very good. View is so so. Service was reasonably good. Price ok for seafood quality, of course much more expensive than a pasta-pizza place.

Great food and good service - a little tricky to find but worth it! Definitely book to avoid disappointment.

Great out of the radar place. Had tuna carpaccio and seafood risotto with house white wine. Wonderful!!!! Could not stop eating. Good value for money. Anyone who says Venice does not have five star food has not been here. Wait staff were very attentive as well.
