6/10The ambiance was pleasant. Locals were there. The tiramisu was excellent as were the scallops. The spaghetti pomodoro was just ok. The staff questioned our reservation, as if they were expecting someone else. We are Americans with an Italian surname, I’m not sure if that was the confusion. We were seated and treated well but curtly. When I asked a question in my limited italian the young woman on staff looked at me like I was offending her somehow. The older staff did try to be friendly.

3.5/10I was recommended this place by a local but I was crammed in to a corner, ignored and the food was mediocre. It was also expensive for what it was. Avoid.

9/10Really nice ambiance, felt very special. Sat outside on a little terrace area. Staff was phenomenal and we felt quite at ease ordering what we wanted to eat and not necessarily a starter/1st/2nd , only reason food was a 4 and not a 5 might have been us ordering something we were not sure of how it should taste. Overall it was a great experience

4.5/10We arrived on time but it took a while for them to bring us the menu. We got the antipasti (only one dish) after one hour of arriving. The annoying part is that after us a party of four arrived and sat in front of us, ordered after us, and got their food (4 dishes) before us (1 dish). When I mentioned this to the waiter he said that it was because our dish was prepared in the moment ( carpaccio). After that the experience was soured. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. Very disappointing experience.

8/10Our Italian landlord recommended this. Quite touristic but still ok concerning location, price, quality, quantity etc. Some waiters were a little.... dominant but most of them were ok and nice. We had a great night outside with delicious food.

10/10A wonderful dining experience. Superb food expert service - a real joy of a no-pressure dining experience. I commend this restaurant to any "foodie visitor to Venice. Great staff who make the whole experience a joy.

9.5/10We have been to Trattoria Storica many times over the years. We've always enjoyed it and have brought many friends. One of our favorite neighborhood places.

9.5/10Delicious freshly prepared food. Where the locals eat too it seemed. And lovely staff and service. In a quiet part of Cannaregio which is lovely. Close to the Jesuit church

10/10All I can say is that the scallops au gratin, served in their shells, were the best I've ever had! And the sole, quickly filleted before being plated, was as good as any.

10/10We booked very late, but were lucky to get a table for 9 persons. Even if we've been too early, we did get a very warm welcome and our table was ready immediately. The menu offers a great choice and after a very tasty dinner, everyone was satisfied. Great place to spend a nice evening with a very fine Menu.

9/10Great find serving excellent fish, pasta and meat dishes. Slightly out of the very centre, but still only 10min walk from Rialto. House red wine excellent and all in all a very memorable meal.

8/10This restaurant is located in a not too crowded alley of Cannaregio. Seafood is very good. View is so so. Service was reasonably good. Price ok for seafood quality, of course much more expensive than a pasta-pizza place.

10/10Great out of the radar place. Had tuna carpaccio and seafood risotto with house white wine. Wonderful!!!! Could not stop eating. Good value for money. Anyone who says Venice does not have five star food has not been here. Wait staff were very attentive as well.
