It was a smaller restaurant just off the Ponte Vecchio. The food was delicious and we really liked the atmosphere. We tried and assortment of homemade pasta and meat dishes. Everything was fantastic!

The staff were very welcoming. The service prompt and friendly. Our meals, including a Caprese salad and pappardelle with wild boar sauce, were tasty. The setting is especially attractive. And the prices very reasonable. A very pleasant evening.

In this trip was the best lasagna that I ate. Delicious postres. Very nice place.

I reserved a table, received a confirmation and received a separate email asking me to reconfirm my reservation. Get there to find a handwritten nkte on the door that they will be closed for a week+ (starting August 11.) Reservation was for August 13, so they had time to update the listing to be closed.

Very lovely staff! really good English and helped me charge my phone whilst I was eating. The restaurant is alot bigger than initial view and I was sat right in the back in a quieter area.

This was our 4th visit to this Restaurant. We have always had good service and food. Good varied menu and deserts! Very attentive staff which you don’t always get in Italy. We will always come again when in Italy!

Amazing food for such a great price! Lasagna homemade and best I’ve ever had. Slow roasted pork shank so so good too!! Definitely recommend if in the area

Every time we come to Florence, we come to the Trattoria Vasari. Why, you ask? For several reasons: they remember us, the food and service is excellent, and their reviews are consistently good. We were not disappointed this time. We were warmed greeted by Tony. We dined with them twice on this trip. Tony, Serena and Johnny took excellent care of us. For the first dinner, we enjoyed the Osso Bucco and the Gnocchi with Pear and Gorgonzola. Oh my, both dishes were freshly prepared and loaded with flavor. The restaurant is what you want an Italian trattoria to look like – it has atmosphere & warmth. My husband finished his meal with cheesecake with fresh berries. For our next dinner, I enjoyed Ribollita – the Tuscan bread & vegetable soup. It is such a hearty soup. My husband started with bruschetta with tomatoes. He then had what he considered to be the best Filet with gorgonzola with walnut sauce on this trip in Italy. It was cooked perfectly. This is why we come here.

Staff were friendly and genuine. There where four of us ,we only ate a light meal of bruscetta and pasta but all four dishes were fresh and excellent.price was fair too. Chiante classic was lovely and good value .Wouldnt hesitate to return, salute.

Lovely food and great staff. This close to the Ponte Vecchio would have expected a ‘tourist trap’ but ended up with a very traditional Italian restaurant and authentic Tuscan food.

First of all no pizzas served in the evening even though they are on the menu outside. Told only until lunchtime but no mention of this anywhere. Specifically booked because the pizza sounded good. Had lasagna instead which was nice but not what we wanted. No discount deducted when bill arrived even though they knew we had a reservation and were the only people in the restaurant! Even more annoying when we left a sign had been added to the menu outside offering a 20% discount (we saw the waiter go outside and add this) so even if they accidentally missed off The Fork discount we still should have had the 20% the restaurant was offering everyone. It makes you wonder if they are trying to rip off tourists. Maybe that was why the place was empty on a Friday evening!

This is a very appealing small restaurant. We found both of our servers to be friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. We enjoyed a bottle of the very reasonably priced house Chianti and each of us ordered a pasta dish and dessert. All were excellent. We highly recommend.

We spent a lovely evening in the charming Trattoria Vasari. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests for off-the-menu items, and they made us feel like special guests. I highly recommend spending an evening at Vasari to enjoy their hospitality and traditional fare. Many thanks!

We found this restaurant a couple of years ago by chance, and we liked it so much that we've returned 3 times since. Tonight they didn't disappoint us, the staff were friendly and attentive, the place was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious.

Can honestly say this is a gem of a restaurant, the food was delicious, service was really great and the ambiance was wonderful! Would recommend & definitely go back there!

Restaurant was ok. Food was fine. Saw staff at toilet not washing their hands after using the toilet. Rather for tourists, but overall ok choice

My husband and I happened upon this restaurant while out touring Florence, it caught our eye due to the decor and reasonable menu prices with a wonderful variety of Tuscan cuisine. Our meal was excellent and staff could not have made you feel more at home and were most attentive. We would definitely go back and recommend highly!

We wanted to have dinner some place close to our apartment in Florence. Thankfully, between The Fork and Trip Advisor, we found a terrific restaurant that we could walk to. When we stepped inside we knew we had made the right decision. The décor and atmosphere were charming. Tony and Serena warmly welcomed us. We had to ask that they please turn down the [loud] music, which they willingly did. My husband has trouble hearing and the music just made it impossible for him. We started with Bruschetta with tomatoes – 3 pieces of lightly toasted, Tuscan bread with tomatoes. Personally, I would have liked a little more seasoning, but they were very good. Whenever I come to Florence, the first thing I want is Ribolita. Theirs was served hot and delicious. I added a drizzle of olive oil, which took the dish over the top. My husband was delighted to see one of his favorite dishes on the menu: Gnocchi with Gorgonzola, pear and walnuts. They were as light as a feather and loaded with flavor. I decided it was time for some Risotto con Porcini Mushrooms. It was such a delicate balance of flavors. We enjoyed a bottle of Orvieto Classico white wine. My husband likes to end with a sweet, and he ordered the Cheesecake with Chocolate sauce. It was decadent and delicious. Tony and Serena made our meal even more enjoyable with a complimentary glass of Limoncello. Thank you for a wonderful first night’s dinner in Florence!

I'll be back for sure! Good Taglioni with truffle and mushrooms, AMAZING tiramisù (maybe put a bit more of the biscuit inside), and lovely staff.

Exactly what we had in mind for a romantic, traditional Florentine meal! The staff were very attentive, the wine was very tasty and well priced, and the Fiorentina definitely lived up to its name!

Highly recommended! Intimate traditional setting with a varied menu with vegetarian options. Waiters speak good English and are very kind. Reasonable and very delicious.
