We got a great dining experience there. The owner makes you feel like you are dining in his dining room, very kind. The food we had was really really tasty !! the food was a new culinary experience for me and it was amazing !!!!

Lovely place and really friendly. For our group the food was mostly great as they had fish and seafood but there was not much choice in vegetarian or chicken. I was informed the steak was a fillet but it was more of a thin slice of rump steak and a little tough. Overall though it was really nice and the staff were great. Also it’s great if you don’t want to sit in the square if busy with tourists.

This was a great little local restaurant off the beaten track. Out waiter was very knowledgeable but also had a very dry drole sense of humour. When we mentioned that we were going to Praia das Macas for the day he recommended a fish restaurant which was absolutely superb.

You cannot have a visit to Sintra without a meal here. This cozy and welcoming place is not just about the food but about a celebration of what Sintra is really about. The food was excellent and Nelson made this more than a meal; a perfect memory.

My wife’s tiger shrimp was really very good. My black Iberica pork was OK. Service was good and server’s advice was also quite helpful. Not really active while we were there. Attractive interior.

I got the grilled octopus and my boyfriend got the Portuguese steak. Both of our dishes were extremely undercooked. We both got sick. I am still extremely sick 4 days later. Do not go.

The Sintra steak was nice, good sauce although the steak was on the tough side. It felt cozy to be tucked into this tiny restaurant on a chilly fall day. Meal was nice but service was pretty much non existent. We live in Lisbon and unfortunately we have come to expect this as the norm.

The food was mediocre at most . The service was outrageous the waiter was rude. He stood our whole meal right next to us, speaking with a couple, telling them how was his journey many years ago to the U.s. He actually made me an headache! I am strongly suggesting to Take this place out of your lists’

Nice restaurant a little off the square. Waitress had some English. The host Nelson has excellent English and was a lot of fun Very chatty and loves New Zealand. English Spanish French pages in the menu and outside. Food excellent. Come to this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Local red wine ???? good too.

We were treated with exceptional service! Nelson, the manager, was spot on with recommendations and even paired our food with the perfect wine and port! Delicious food, great service and great location. Highly recommend!

We loved our meal at this delightful little restaurant. The staff was welcoming, and the food was delicious. We tried lots of different things. Our server was hilarious and we enjoyed bantering with him. He also had lots of great information to share with us. We highly recommend this place.

We found this restaurant just 50M up the street from where we were staying. We loved it so much we went back every night. The food was excellent. We tried a variety of dishes over 4 days. My favorite was the black pudding and the stew squid with shrimp. My husband's favorite was the Sea Bream. Nelson, the server, rocks! He made good food even more enjoyable with great attitude and service. He even arranged a birthday cake for my husband and directed the whole restaurant to sing Happy Birthday :-)

Very nice food and beverages - the Negroni is out of this world! The biggest reason to come here is Nelson. He makes the entire experience, very professional and at the same time really fun! Would highly recommend this little gem!
