Pleasant waitstaff. Starters and mains were reasonably tasty but high salt level. Dessert was good. Bathroom can be better, no toilet paper and no towels to wipe hand after wash, nor was there a hand dryer.

The depth of the menu is mind-boggling! SO many excellent dishes to choose from. The food and staff are both first rate. This is my second visit and both meals were excellent. Come early or make reservations as it fills up as the evening goes on.

The food was excellent and staff super friendly. We eat very early so it was very empty but it was semi busy when we left. We totally recommend it and will be back there soon.

It was recommended by our taxi driver. The best Indian food I've ever had. The portions are very generous, so less is more. Reasonable, super nice staff. Mixed grill rocks.

We had a lovely evening with friends, we chose 4 courses menu with not disappointing every thing was delicious. The staff were very friendly definitely recommended.

This place is our new favorite Indian restaurant. The staff is very attentive but doesn’t hover. The food is excellent — perfectly seasoned and generous portions so there’s enough to take home for a second meal. Highly recommend!

We had booked the restaurant for a very special occasion and had called earlier and also spoke to the staff again when we reached to make sure they had vegan options, and if they could do a low sugar dessert for my mom's 80th birthday. The vegan menu was not available, which was very disappointing. The service was very slow, the food took more than an hour and many reminders to be served. The quantity and quality (especially given the price) was the lowest we have ever had in any Indian restaurant. We had to remind the staff about the special birthday dessert and then they served something completely different from what had been discussed, which my mom could not eat. They did bring the correct on later, but ruined the whole birthday surprise. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We will definitely not be returning to Tulsi again.

I would say that this is one of the best restaurant ive found in Amsterdam. The taste and quality is super to count on and service and staff is super friendly and cooperative.

Authentic Indian cuisine in heart of Amsterdam. Portions are great, service is really good. I had order chicken tikka masala and forgot to make it spicy. When my food arrived, it was not spicy. When I stated that I forgot to ask for spicy, server said she can take it back and make a new one so I said that’s okay. Within couple of minutes she gave me spicy curry sauce freshly made. I have never received the service I did at Tulsi. Definitely recommend this place. It’s decent restaurant with an excellent service. Reply

Taste - good tasting food with the right amount of spice. The spice mix (masala) used is mild enough for the food to subtlety hit your palate. We ordered the fixed menu and the quantity was sufficient Ambiance - the restaurant offers a great dining experience with good decor. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating ( open in summer ) Service - given the restaurant was less than 10% occupied when we arrived, I would have expected the service to be quicker. Price - for the ambiance and taste, I believe the the restaurant is pricey 1

We had a great meal... Highly recommended restaurants if you're looking for Indian food.... The service and food was amazing.... we will definitely visit again.

authentic Indian delicacy ! we love the taste of food and have been visiting regularly. one of the best Indian restaurant in Holland. mutton rogan josh and garlic naan is our favorite !
