9.5/10The food was excellent and staff super friendly. We eat very early so it was very empty but it was semi busy when we left. We totally recommend it and will be back there soon.

10/10It was recommended by our taxi driver. The best Indian food I've ever had. The portions are very generous, so less is more. Reasonable, super nice staff. Mixed grill rocks.

10/10This place is our new favorite Indian restaurant. The staff is very attentive but doesn’t hover. The food is excellent — perfectly seasoned and generous portions so there’s enough to take home for a second meal. Highly recommend!

4/10We had booked the restaurant for a very special occasion and had called earlier and also spoke to the staff again when we reached to make sure they had vegan options, and if they could do a low sugar dessert for my mom's 80th birthday. The vegan menu was not available, which was very disappointing. The service was very slow, the food took more than an hour and many reminders to be served. The quantity and quality (especially given the price) was the lowest we have ever had in any Indian restaurant. We had to remind the staff about the special birthday dessert and then they served something completely different from what had been discussed, which my mom could not eat. They did bring the correct on later, but ruined the whole birthday surprise. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We will definitely not be returning to Tulsi again.

10/10Authentic Indian cuisine in heart of Amsterdam. Portions are great, service is really good. I had order chicken tikka masala and forgot to make it spicy. When my food arrived, it was not spicy. When I stated that I forgot to ask for spicy, server said she can take it back and make a new one so I said that’s okay. Within couple of minutes she gave me spicy curry sauce freshly made. I have never received the service I did at Tulsi. Definitely recommend this place. It’s decent restaurant with an excellent service. Reply

10/10Taste - good tasting food with the right amount of spice. The spice mix (masala) used is mild enough for the food to subtlety hit your palate. We ordered the fixed menu and the quantity was sufficient Ambiance - the restaurant offers a great dining experience with good decor. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating ( open in summer ) Service - given the restaurant was less than 10% occupied when we arrived, I would have expected the service to be quicker. Price - for the ambiance and taste, I believe the the restaurant is pricey 1

2/10Food was worst Indian food I have ever had. Almost completely void of spices and flavor. Service was rushed. We felt like the wanted to get us in and out and go home. Definitely do not recommend.

10/10The restaurant was suggested to us by a friend. It is centrally located. The ambience is really nice, the staff is warm and friendly (except for the lady in hijab (She definitely was not in a good mood that day). The service was quick and the food was awesome. We had the best aloo papdi chat in Europe here and would definitely visit them on our next trip to Amsterdam. We highly recommend this place for delicious Indian (authentic) food. Cheers Anant

10/10Amazing authentic Indian food which is difficult to find in Europe. You will not be dissappointed if you come here. We recommend the butter chicken and paneer butter masala. Their desserts are also delicious - we tried the pista kulfi, was wonderful.

6.5/10Food was excellent. However the ambience in the restaurant was not very pleasant with many tables right next to each other. The service was adhoc and we had the feeling of being rushed. Waiters were shouting to each other across the guests.

10/10Tulsi restaurant is delicious in taste. I found it the perfect desi cuisine. It’s pani puri and biryani is too good. The manager Iqra is the best lady she was so kind and professional with clients. Services were best.Recommend ????

10/10We are so glad that Tulsi has reopened after a long renovation. It's the best Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. This is the only restaurant in Amsterdam that offers delicious North Indian street food like chaat, pani puri, etc. We tried the chicken thali today and it was great. The garlic naan, lamb Tikka masala were equally delicious.

10/10This restaurant was recommended to us by a local in Amsterdam. Definitely glad we went there. Being an indian, I can confidently say that the food was very good. I wish I got the server's name, he was a student frome India. Very courteous and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for good Indian food and good service with reasonable pricing.
