9/10The perfect trattoria where all the ingredients are fresh and delicious. We had the fresh red shrimp, sphagetti condole, breaded chicken n the tomato salad. Nice friendly service. Don’t miss this restaurant

9/10This food was delicious. The atmosphere was terrific and romantic. We sat outside and someone played the accordion and sang. The staff was less friendly than other places we went to this week but service was typical. We would recommend Thai restaurant.

9/10The food was excellent with plenty of local dishes to choose from. The wine list was also updated, with many varieties from Sicily and worldwide to taste. The only thing that needs a little improvement is the service. It's quick but in a stressful way, like they are in a hurry to finish and change the tables and welcome another customer. May be that is happening because they are full, but it's kind of stressy to the customers

10/10Nice Sicilian restaurant with a terrace on a quiet street. I took the pasta with mushrooms and pistacchio, a tiramisu and the red house wine, everything was delicious.

6/10We choose this restaurant on our first night in Catania given the good reviews. However we found it underwhelming - The food was “good but not great” and our waitress, while competent, seemed surly. We’ve been cycling through Sicily for a month now, the wait staff have always been so engaging and friendly. We’ve now learned of many other choices in Catania which offer a much better experience.

9/10The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The pasta alla Norma did live up to its hype! The pasta with Gorgonzola and pistachio was also delicious. We got a Catania salad and the blood oranges were amazing. We also got salmon with burrata that was delicious. The swordfish was very tasty. We would recommend this restaurant.

9.5/10Lovely spot on a side street near the Piazza. The pasta with porcini and pistachios was incredible, as was the pasta all’s norma. The house wine went great with the meal. The staff were lovely and the service was good.

9/10Probably the best Trattoria in Catania. The food is of high quality although traditional and not pretentious. Half of the staff is friendly and half is lukewarm but all is efficient.

10/10Pre-booked, it was very busy Sunday night. Friendly and helpful staff. New tastes for us, stuffed sardines which were exceptionally tasty. Tuna with pasta in a fusion sauce, fruity but excellent combination and delicious taste. Family run and clearly child friendly for ‘dinner with nonna’. Lovely ambience, good wine list and great food. Top quality.

10/10A really friendly service team. The menu was translated into English for when I couldn’t understand the Italian. The food was amazing. I had the Argentine Steak which was particularly impressive. Really nice house wine too.

9/10Lovely dishes, big portions. We tried caponata di polpo, pasta with pistachio and gorgonzola cheese and pasta with shrimps and pistachio. Everything was delicious and in a good value! Atmosphere and decoration is more or less a typical sicilian tratoria, nothing too different or worthing to comment. Quite adequate list of wine, english speaking staff. Great location, in city center near via Etnea!Trattoria U Fucularu was an excellent choise for our last dinner in Catania!

10/10It's a fantastic place with the nicest service you can imagine! Although the owner, as I suppose, dont speak English he was kind and making sure we are fine in Italian ???? We took two different pasta, both were sins worthy! Price to quality ratio is really ok! I advice to book a table, cause the place is full.
