10/10Excellent food. Carefully prepared, beautifully plated, delicious. Very good service, could be better with a more personal touch but everything was very smooth. A great pace to have a wonderful, calm, cheerful meal.

10/10It was a truly fine dining experience. The food was scrumptious and the presentation was perfect. The server was very polite and welcoming and she explained us well the ingredients that will be used for our order. The ambience was nice and fresh accompanied with a lovely weather outside. It will be great to introduce the menu on a tab with a preview of the pictures of the dish and the ingredients that will be used in that dish. It just facilitates to decide the order. Overall the experience was amazing and would love to revisit this place some day.

8/10It was delicious. I was upset by the waiter's behavior. I asked the waiter to surprise my husband on his birthday in the form of a cake with a candle. When we were about to leave, the waiter girl unceremoniously asked who had a birthday. Which ruined the surprise effect. I didn't like this behavior. I don't think I'll come back.

10/10We were an international party of 8, from 8 different countries. We were absolutely delighted with the excellent food and the lovely presentation. We all agreed that our waiter Alex was just wonderful and the best waiter we have ever seen. Thank you for a lovely evening!

6/10This restaurant has the 'look and feel' of a formula restaurant, i.e. I found the setting a bit distant. The service was correct but did not give the idea of a pleasant evening out dining with colleagues. Food was presented nicely but it tasted too greasy to my preference. Compared with nearby restaurants, Umami ranks low in my personal list.

7/10Atmosphere was nice. Food was generally very good, presentation was good. Felt like it lacked depth as we progressed through the course. Our pairing was forgotten. Would expect bit more attention to detail with the service for the price paid.

10/10Yesterday I had a delicious dinner at Umami by Han in The Hague. The service was excellent and they even had some surprising new dishes: black cod, baby carrot and spicy portobello. The reason why I often have dinner here is because or the shared dining concept and they take special care of my allergies. For the reasonable price that you pay, you get a totally varied dinner of 3 courses.
