The Gramigna was delicious, first time I had it! So good. Our waitress was very friendly, timely and helpful with our dinner choices. First meal in Bologna….great spot

The service was great, and the Lasagna more than deserves its reputation. I took the “ciao” tasting meal and everything was absolutely delicious.

I´ve heard about the restaurant from friends who loved the food, and it definetely didn't disapoint. The lasagna was incredible all fresh ingredients and the tiramisu was from another level. The drinks were good but nothing incredible. It was a very peaceful environment with decoration with books and posters from famous shows.

After ordering our food. It arrived within 5 minutes. Therefore it obviously wasn't prepared to order and was sitting there. The chicken was very dry and together with the potatoes tasted warmed over. Pasta was similar.

Restaurant showed no record of my reservation but found a table for me. Food was solid. Service was terrific. Very crowded/crammed in dining rooms dampened my enjoyment a bit but on the whole the meal was great.

the restaurant setting is very welcoming and I liked the use of book shelves as decoration and book covers as lamp shades. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good, but I was somehow expecting a little bit more in terms of flavour in my Lasagna- it was good but not exceptional.

Everything was great beside the fact that the place doesn't have air conditioning or ventilation. The heat was unbearable so we left the place as soon as possible.

The food was just not good. The lasagna was overcooked and the noodles were mushy. The meatballs were extremely dry and hard to swallow. This meal was extremely disappointing. The worst meal we have had in Italy so far.

We last ate here before the pandemic and were excited to return during our first post-Covid trip to Italy. My memories were spot on-everything was great-the food, the service, the setting. I highly recommend Va Mo La!

We gave this a try tonight as it had some great reviews and we regret wasting our time. The food was not only basic and uninspired - it was disappointing. Presentation was not good, service was ok, but we didn’t get one of the dishes we ordered, which at the end was fine by us since the rest of the food wasn’t good. I wouldn’t waste my time - there are so many better places do enjoy in the area.

Great ambience and Service. The food was nice but lacked the oh wow factor. Although it's definitely felt authentic bologonese food. I recommend it.

We were given a table between the main service areas, which was not comfortable at all but very noisy and busy, The beef tartare was good and so were our desserts but because of the noisy table in the corridor and impolite service from one of the waiters which made us feel unwelcome, I cannot unconditionally recommend this restaurant.

Not worth it at all. The food was average at best. Not what you would expect of a well rated restaurant. The food was way too salty. Service felt rushed.

Very touristy. Stale bread. Poor service with only one wait person. She did good for covering entire restaurant. Lasagna Bolognese was tasty but cooked until mushy.

Quite an expensive place, but the quality of the dishes is up to par. Balanzoni were delicious, and the rabbit was also finely prepared. Overall positive experience for a slightly higher price than you would find in normal "good" restaurants, but worth the Insider denomination.

The atmosphere is fabulus. I love the book collections there. The recommendation of wine is just great! The owner of this restaurant is very confident about their dishes, and when he find me do not like the meat balls, he suggests change beef steak for me. But I am too full to have any more. Surprisingly, we are not billed from the meat balls and get a wine from him as a gift. Highly recommended and definitely will go there again.

Unusual (in a positive way) interior, the music from 60-70th... ambiance... excellent hospitality, delicious food... it was Sunday evening... empty streets, and all tables full inside.
