9/10It was a very positive first expierence. Met by Viola with a warm welcome and a small glass of prosecco which was a nice touch. The concept with the clothes and the decor was very homely. I really liked the Menu on a t-shirt. Then we were greeted by one of the chefs Davide who was very professional and really good at explaining what was in each dish. At the end of the meal we met the owner who was very pleasant. The octopus was really good. Thanks for a nice evening. Shane

10/10My friend and I tried this restaurant taking advantage of The Fork festival given the restaurant level is a little beyond my usual reach. We had Tuna tartare as a starter and black ravioli filled with grouper and a fish and vegetable fry. We enjoyed all the food, in particular the ravioli. As a dessert we had a cheesecake and a chocolate cake with a hot core. We enjoyed the latter more. The service was warm and friendly, Chiara, the waitress, seemed genuinely committed to her job: smiling, fresh, human and not overly formal. The cook came out to us to explain to us he had already split our food in halves and served on two dishes to save us from having to do it on the table. We enjoyed our evening a lot!

7.5/10I went there with my fiancé. We were greeted with a tiny glass of prosecco and quite a cold attitude from the service staff, maybe it was part of the experience, or maybe the staff was just tired... or rude... idk, but I didn't like it too much. As for food it was quite tasty if you like hair in your dish... In my case I found not.one but two, nice deep fried hairs in fish and flower dish. The food itself was good but the experience in general wasn't, won't come back nor recommend, sorry.

8.5/10This is a quirky place with the menu written onto t shirts. The food was good but a bit variable. Nice pasta but cod with spinach and fried courgettes turned out to be deep fried cod and chips. With no Aircon it was very hot. Good service.

10/10What a fantastic find in Florence. Great food, coupled with a unique location and concept, what’s not to like? It is worth hunting this restaurant out and it’s away from the hubbub of the old city but well worth it. Food was delicious along with helpful suggestions from the staff.

10/10What a delightful, interesting place to have dinner. A custom T-shirt store by night and a fabulous restaurant by evening. The menu is printed on a T-Shirt. The food was exceptionally good! Our waiter was so nice. We enjoyed our dinner immensely. Definitely will return.

10/10While we had high expectations after seeing this restaurant rated so highly on TheFork, our experience exceeded all expectations. Our host Enzo was absolutely amazing. He helped us understand the entire menu and gave amazing recommendations. He cared for all of our needs and more, and I cannot stress how nice he was. As to the food and restaurant, the food was amazing; the pork was tender, and the seafood was delightful, I had never had octopus that good. All in all a wonderful time at Zaia.

9/10Unusual location: in a clothes stores, menus are printed on t-shirts, warm atmosphere, great, communicative patron, exceptionally tasty food: we had gnocci, boar, octopus, homemade pasta, pork - all prepared in a most delicious way. Thanks to 50% TheFork reduction well worth the price. Highly recommended!

10/10Today we discovered a hidden gem ???? That feeling that you get when a place an atmosphere, a vibe, actually speaks to you? Well yeah today was one of those days. @vaiaconceptstore is a cute yet glamorous NYC Brooklyn vibe clothing store AND restaurant in the heart of Firenze, close to Piazzale di Michelangelo. Aaaand yep, you read me well, it's a restaurant with one of a kind attention to detail, dishes and wines that will get you in the mood and an atmosphere that will give you the best of a let's-have-dinner-at-home type of night. Before or after the main course, you can catch the spirit of the place checking out the abbligiamento of the store, all independent design clothing with unforgettable phrases and quotes that will get you a smile for sure. Music was part of the night too, being also one of the highlights the attention and great vibes of Giacomo the owner, who shared with us the story of how his passion, inspiration and hard work came to life in this beautiful place. 10/10Exceptional restaurant ! The food is fantastic and made with local, fresh, top-quality products. Quantities are generous and more typical of helpings served in a trattoria, but the dishes are creative and perfectly prepared. Special mention to the desserts which are also excellent - to a level rarely seen in Italian restaurants. Highly recommended!

6/10I really enjoy this restaurant and the food, as written in my past reviews. That being said, this last dining experience was not as nice as I would have liked. Restaurant was nearly empty, perhaps cause if was a Wednesday evening. No mood or ambiance to be had. Although our server Gabriele was very kind and attentive as he has been before, the food was very slow to arrive from kitchen . The hamburger was over cooked and the roasted potatoes were rather burnt. Perhaps it was just a short staffed off night to dine at this restaurant. Previous visits were pleasant and satisfying. Will go again as the owners are always very nice although I understand they need a day off as well and were not there this night.

9.5/10Quiet evening but very cool decor with old vinyl records and memorabilia on the walls. Service was excellent. Menu is not extensive but very well prepared. Excellent value. Wine recommendations good. A great option away from the crowds in Florence!

10/10The tris tartare, shrimp and asparagus black risotto, and the pasta of the sea dishes were all very flavorful. Our server Gabriel was very friendly and attentive. The owners Ilaria and Giacomo doing all they can to satisfy their clientele. A wonderful informal place to dine with a variety of choices and delightful friendly ambience. Highly recommend and are surely new regular clients. Thanks for giving us a new place to go for a nice meal regularly.

8/10The Valentine day menu was a very nice pairing of flavors. Tuna tartar starter, shrimp linguini second, and grilled octopus, main course. All were presented beautifully and warm with nice unique flavors. Giacomo and Ilaria were very caring and proud of their restaurant, and were very attentive to the needs of everyone and did all possible to provide excellent service. The arrival of second course took longer than it should and perhaps the shrimp could have been medium size shrimps. The Cheesecake was a nice final light fresh taste. We will return to flavor other items on menu. A nice unusual casual place for 2 and with friends. Would definitely recommend.

10/10We were the only non-Italians. Food was great, service is personal, quick and friendly. Prices reasonable, especially compared to Firenze city centre. Just around the corner from Hotel David where we stayed. Even got 25% off by reserving the table via Tripadvisor/The fork. It is not exactly where Google places it, but just go to the next road intersection. It is also a clothing store, but don't let that scare you off. We did buy clothes too :-) A very good surprise for us, we just looked for a place to eat, near our hotel.
