10/10The staff was very warm and welcoming; explaining the specials of the day and the menu. We both ordered specials: seafood pasta for me and filet mignon for my husband. Both were excellent. No starters, but we finished with dessert. My husband got the apple crumble with ice cream and I got the "ice cold" hazelnut mousse. Delicious!

6.5/10Nice location, prompt service, the fish dish was very good. However, there were a number of times the restaurant tried to upsell - placing bread and olives on our table and not saying the charge; encouraging us to get a starter (never had this experience in a restaurant before); bringing a bottle of water when we asked for tap (and opening the water and saying that it was better for us than tap!!). The steaks was very flat and one with cream sauce was completely covered in it, it was way too much.

10/10Excellent meal. I enjoyed the prawn al ajilo starter as the prawns were juicy and fresh and the sauce delicious. I had the main course of sea bass and my husband had the red prawn curry. Both were excellent. Would definitely recommend and return.

10/10Dined here recently. Calamari to start then I had the grilled seabass and my friend the seabeass special with mussels and garlic. The food was amazing. The flavour and taste exceptional. The service was excellent. I hope to return and I would highly recommend.

9/10We had a wonderful dinner at Valerio with welcoming service and fantastic food. The fish was so fresh and prepared perfectly, and my steak was superb. We would highly recommend Valerio.

8.5/10Good food and excellent service - especially from the young man from Brazil. Scallops and veal were the stand out dishes, though none disappointed. Good wines at reasonable prices. A lovely Sunday lunch that was a highlight of our week in Cascais.

9/10We really enjoyed our family meal here . Great atmosphere. Excellent service. The food was great . Not many vegetarian options . Good wine . Like most restaurants in this area it’s a bit overpriced for what it is . But the marina has a great atmosphere at night .

8.5/10good food. Consistently good. They do NOT take Credit cards. It is all cash. They pretend that machines not working temporarily - not true. They dont take cards so be prepared!!!

10/10We really enjoyed our meal and entire experience at Valerio. The service was excellent and the host explained the menu very enthusiastically. Our meals were very well prepared and very, very good. I would be happy to eat there again.

10/10Outstanding restaurant. One of the best we have ever been. Our family of 5 had an amazing experience thanks to Abel who gave us recommendations in a thoughtful way. We ordered several tapas (calamari, tuna and mushrooms)as well as their filet minon, regular beef and sea bass. It was outstanding . Their crème brûlée and chocolate cake was delicious. Going to this restaurant was one of the highlights of our day!

10/10We enjoyed every dish we tried. We had bread, calamari, prawns with garlic and oil and prawn trumpets for starters. All tasted very good. We had Steak del Mar with prawns and Salmon Fettuccine for entrées. The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The sparkling wine sangria was delicious. Would recommend and come back!

8/10Food was very good in general but our baby suid calamari which we ordered for starter, there was something like samll sand we were chewed several times. And after meal, we were informed that they only accept cash. It could be better if they accept credit card then we do not have to find our the ATM after the meal.

10/10I have dined at Valerio several times before when in Cascais and I held a group dinner for 15 during my women’s retreat in Cascais in May 2023. As always, this evening was amazing in all ways. One of my friends from the US said the fettuccine with clams, oil and garlic (made special!) was the best she ever had. The fettuccine noodles with the bolognese were the best I ever ate. The wine recommendation was great and the staff are always gracious and more than accommodating. This evening I dined with one US transplant to Cascais, two friends from San Diego, CA and two from Princeton, NJ. Thank you!!!

10/10As a party of 12 we just left the food to them we had lots of small plates of delicious imaginative food with great service and a Morden vibe.. The guys at Hifen told us to stop serving when we’d had enough food , wine and what turned out to such good value, Great if you like good clever food that you can share and talk about

10/10Attentive service and great suggestions. We started with the house red and mozzarella / tomatoes. For dinner we shared the sea bass with olive oil with a side of vegetables. Wonderful!

10/10We had an excellent evening. The waiter was extremely helpful, gave us great suggestions for our meal and was always attentive to our needs. During my booking process I asked the restaurant to provide a small cake with candles for my wife's birthday and they met my request perfectly. Thank you for a perfect dinning experience.

10/10It’s a nice restaurant in a pleasant area in Cascais. The food is very good. We’ve chosen a very good steak. There are good wine options. The staff is efficient. It’s a place to come back.

7/10The plates on the table were dirty so I switched out mine. The food was ok, not great. I had the tuna steak with vegetables. The tuna was cooked as it should have been but the vegetables were drowning in soy sauce and the mashed potatoes were very gluey. The server was very kind and efficient.
