10/10The food was very good. We had soy-marinated tuna and braised scallops as a starter. Shrimp curry scented with mango and grilled sirloin steak as Main. The dessert was sorbet and Creme brulee. I will recommend this restaurant. Start with a glass at the roof top bar with fantastisc view over the City.

8.5/10The name is accurate. The restaurant, located in the 8th floor of a hotel building, offers amazing views of the old city of Lisboa and is worth visiting. The restaurant has a good menu offering good and tasty food. The service is also good even in my case - I made a late booking and arrived almost at the kitchen closing time. Worth the visit.

8/10Varanda de Lisboa was the site of our last dinner in Portugal, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful view from atop the Hotel Mundial. The server was nice and helpful, and the food was quite good. Only slight negatives are the fact that the service definitely lessened as the restaurant got more crowded, and the fact that the manager basically came over and told us to leave while we were finishing up our espresso after the meal. Seemed odd and out of character, since everyone else had been so nice.

10/10Initially we went to the rooftop for a drink, and found a table at Varanda's. It was a very nice place to eat, great atmosphere with the pianist and view. Excellent service and personal, very kind, excellent food too. Discovered the encharcada there ❤️

8.5/10Was a very good meal. Would eat here again. Staff were excellent and helpful. Seafood was cooked perfectly. Would have liked a textural element on the Octopus Salad, but is was still great.

6/10Great atmosphere and superb service, excellent bread but bad/mediocre food. Mushroom and sausage starter tasteless, steak just OK, vegetable lasagne tasteless, vegetables tasteless except for the oil. Several years ago good experience here multiple times. Would not revisit now I am afraid.

8/10Excellent shared starter shrimp with garlic, very tasty shrimp curry though little rice. The scallop and shrimp rice had only 1 scallop and 5 shrimp, needed the added Parmesan cheese to make it flavourful. Great service. Picturesque view. Good selection wines €20-30.

4/10This was a very disappointing experience. It started well enough when we were shown to a table by the window with a spectacular view over Porto. Thereafter, it went downhill. We were not offered the menu or any drinks until we noticed that several tables of diners who came in after us had been served. On request, menus were provided. Unlike all the other restaurants we dined in during our time in Portugal, the staff here failed to enhance the dining experience. We did not feel comfortable or relaxed. For an establishment that purports to be fine dining, the food was not really what I would have expected, We ordered scallops which were gritty and smothered in an overpowering source. In contrast, the pork we ordered was well cooked and the highlight to what, otherwise, was an expensive and disappointing evening. Perhaps we were unlucky but, based on our experience, I would not recommend eating here.

5.5/10The service was sub par. There was a table with two children and 6 adults that got the attention of all three employees that were working. Wine glasses were refilled,and one guest actually did not like her meal and a new selection was made.The children were crawly on the floor . This is possibly a restaurant that one may choose for a special occasion and this was not pleasant.we realized that everyone our age probably expecting a romantic,quiet evening were all seated on the opposite side of the restaurant.The food was also disappointing. I had merluza that was not very good. The menu is very limited. Would not recommend with so many outstanding restaurants in Lisbon

10/10This restaurant has some of the best views in Lisbon. It is sleek and sophisticated but not imposing or intimidating. The food was really good and tasty! The service was top notch. Friendly staff who were attentive, kind and always had a smile on their face. You won’t be disappointed with this choice :)

10/10I always focus most on service before food, it makes the food gracious. The mushroom n' jamon salad led to the gorgeous brick of grouper fish; garlic n olive oil United them. I had cherries on ice to finish the wine while a young waiter informed me of Portuguese life. Perfect. The view gives you Lisbon.
