10/10I never write reviews but this time I felt different. The food in this modest restaurant is so exquisite, stylish and tasty . This is due in no small matter to the superb quality of the products , but the mastery of chef Vedat tops it all. He does not add cream to his dishes and uses vegetables instead. Sublime

9/10We got a great table and overall the food was of very good quality, and the waiter was very pleasant. Unfortunately the lamb I ordered was undercooked (basically raw), which rather spoiled my appetite. The prices are also a bit on the high side, but perhaps justified given the peaceful atmosphere.

8.5/10I made my reservation to celebrate my partner's birthday, everything was fine: the food, the service, however, I was going with the intention of eating Turkish food, and it turns out that for New Year's Eve holidays, they do not serve Turkish food, and I had no notice neither in The Fork nor on the restaurant's website, in the end I did not feel it was a perfect evening, I recommend that these details are specified in the restaurant's description.

10/10Surprising, enjoyable and excellent birthday meal For the occasion of my youngest son’s birthday, I invited him and his longtime girlfriend for a meal at Vedat restaurant. It turned out to be a very agreeable surprise, as nor my guests, nor myself knew this cosy little restaurant even existed (I live in Portugal and found it on The Fork). At first sight, the à la carte menu as well as the suggestions of the day are either Belgian/French or Italian. All dishes, however, were enhanced with a fresh slightly exotic touch’ The result is a very tasty and interesting re-interpretation of classical dishes. Curious about the name Vedat. I asked the very welcoming and kind host/waiter. Vedat turns out to be the name of the Chef, who is of Turkish origin. Bravo, well done!

10/10We came across this little restaurant on our way to a gig. From the moment we entered we felt at home. The atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed and the service was very welcoming. The food was simply delicious! Beautifully presented, fresh produce, you could tell it was prepared with care and attention to quality. We'll definitely go back next time we're in Bruxelles!

10/10This restaurant is charming! It glows invitingly on the corner in a beautiful neighborhood, and inside it is cozy and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious and tastefully presented. Our whole group had a delightful evening here and would love to dine here again. It is especially nice that they have high-quality vegan options.

10/10This is a little gem of a restaurant, tucked into a residential part of the neighbourhood. The love and attention to detail that has gone into creating the experience for guests, by this husband and wife team is evident from the moment you enter. While the wife hosts and serves, the husband takes care of the kitchen. The food is really delicious, creative and fresh. and does sit heavy in the stomach afterwards. Main course portions are modest in size. It’s a bit on the pricey side. If it weren’t, I would go quite often.

10/10I can't say enough good things about Vedat. It was an unmatched experience and the best meal I had during my week in Bruxelles. The atmosphere of is incredible. The restaurant is filled with plants and candles that instantly put you at ease, but it was the food that really impressed me. I had the sea bass and my partner had the assorted vegetables dish (vegan). To say they were delicious is an understatement. The hummus was also the best I've ever had. 10/10 will return.
