A hidden gem among Lisbon's restaurants in the famous Alfama. A short, well-thought-out menu - Portuguese cuisine with a modern twist at its best. Very nice owner who will talk, advise and offer delicacies. The desserts were amazing!

We were very disappointed taking into consideration the classification and the comments. The only item that was good was the Bacalhau a Taberna Velha. All other items (caldo verde, bifana, pudim) were bad. We believe this as a tourist trap.

Ribel the cook was fantastic! Perfect service, wonderful cooking advice and inside tips on Lisbon foods were highly appreciated! Personalized service, great ambiance despite the not-so-inspiring exterior building. We will recommend to friends and will surely be back when visiting Lisbon next time.
