We really enjoyed our dinner in this restaurant. We took boiled Roman artichokes, fettuccine al ragu and lamb (and a tiramisu). The food is very good, the staff is really nice and the place is well-located.

2/10This was the most disappointing meal we had while in Rome. I'm not able to explain all the details as this only allows 1,000 characters, but it was a preset for NYE and we didn't even get everything they offered since it took them over 2 1/2 hours to just bring the out the first and second course. SOOOO many better options. Don't waste your money. What we did have wasn't also awful so there is that.

10/10Outstanding authentic Italian dishes! The waitstaff is very caring and attentive. I splurged and ordered a multiple-course meal including a cocktail and wine. If you are looking for a great-tasting meal, a large wine selection to complement your meal, all located in a quiet but lively square steps from the Campo de Fiori, this is it. The heated outdoor seating is a good spot for people watching. This was by far my best meal while in Rome.

9.5/10Me and my family (Italians) are regulars in this restaurant, located in beautiful little corner few meters from Campo dei Fiori, deeply immersed in the city’s history. Great Roman food with quality ingredients and nice portions. The wine and beer selection is also nice with tasty etiquettes. What makes this restaurant shine for us is the attentive service and genuine care the staff puts into making guest feel welcomed, fed and safe! Highly recommended!

4/10We really enjoyed the food at Verso Sera — it was delicious and well-prepared. There were a few aspects of the service that could be improved: • We weren’t able to sit at the table we had requested, and there was some confusion when tables were rearranged. • We experienced a longer wait to be served, and cheese wasn’t offered with the pasta dishes. • There was also a small issue with payment and tipping, which could be handled more clearly for guests. Overall, we enjoyed the meal, and with a little attention to these service details, the experience could be even better.

8.5/10We really enjoyed our lasagna and pasta dishes, but the salad we ordered couldn't have fed a small rabbit. But that was the only disappointment, perhaps skewed by the portions customary to the US.

A balanced menu but nothing spectacular. The tables outside are cosy during a summer evening but sadly too many cars decide to park in the square which does kill the vibe. 7.5/10

This is our second visit to Verdo Sera. It is a neighborhood restaurant that offers good Roman style food. We love the Roman style oxtail. Very flavorful and tender. Many people might be turned off by the thought of oxtail but it is very similar to short ribs but with more flavors. We tried to veal meatballs which is good. We coupled the meatball with the pasta with truffles. It was an excellent combination. Seating was comfortable outside. If you are staying locally near compo dei fiori, this is the place to get good food without paying an arm and a leg and without much wait. 😀

10/10Wonderful restaurant. The waiters are kind and the dishes are delicious. The place is very well located, near the Campo de’Fiori. We were a group of 9 persons with 2 children, and we had a great time on the terrace. Highly recommended.

We chose Verso Sera initially because we wanted a restaurant close to our lodgings, but not directly on Campo de Fiori. We were able to make a reservation on short notice for our group of five. What a great choice it turned out to be. The food was excellent, servers were friendly and helpful with food and wine choices and the outside patio was warm and cozy, even when it was raining. We went back for our final meal in Tome!

7/10Food was ok, nothing outstanding. Service as well. However, our first check came 100euro more than what we order. This is a major. You left with the feeling they either made a huge mistake or they did it intentionally. Neither is good.

5/10They treated the special 31st dinner like a production line, whipping away our mediocre dishes as fast as they could, and asking us to vacate the table at 10pm so they could stress out a fresh group of diners before the chimes of midnight. Poor.

10/10Verso Sera is truly a gem in the heart of Rome with delicious and non-touristy Italian food and an amazing atmosphere with the outdoor dining, and great service to boot. We ordered a spread of their salads, some pasta, and one of the most delectable eggplant parm I have EVER had. Wholeheartedly recommend, especially if you order the eggplant parm and fried artichokes.

8/10Gets a young, lively crowd. Outside seating near one of Rome's famous ever-flowing fountains of fresh water. Spaghetti with clams, Spaghetti with tomato sauce, well-made, worth the visit. Young staff, knowledgable. Large wine list -- Lazio's own white Bellone wine, derives from ancient Rome, with just a touch of sweetness and spice. A varietal worth trying -- vintage 2021. Two house made desserts -- cheesecake and tiramisù -- go well with caffè macchiato. Its reputation will grow. Reserve.

10/10I was there with four friends and everything we had was delicious. It was a great menu. So far it is the best restaurant I have been to in Rome and very reasonable. Also great location.
