9.5/10We go to this restaurant every time we are in Rome. This time we introduced seven friends and they all loved it. It was very busy but service remained excellent. And the food?? Excellent.

10/10Where shall I start. The welcoming was lovely. The waitresses were professional and friendly. The food was amazing - from the starter (artichoke and fiori di zucca) to the mains (steak, pasta and melanzane alla parmigiana. The portions were very good - no space for dessert on this occasion.. Even the wine was really good. I was a bit worried because it is close to Campo di Fiori, but the food was authentic Roman food and it was properly priced. i will definitely go back again.

9.5/10This is a great local restaurant that was recommended to us by a friend. We went into with high expectations and we were still blown away by how good the food was, how affordable the prices were. We are from the Bay Area of California and were used to paying high prices with mediocre food. We traveled to Italy looking for good Italian food. We’ve recently visited Monterisso, positano, Amalfi. The food there were good but prices were very high. We visited verso Sera and the food beat them all. The price of dinner was 1/3 cheaper. We haven’t tried other restaurants in Rome yet but we have been very happy with Verso Sera. The spaghetti with meatball is second to none. The oxtail was really good but the meat was not heated up hot so it tasted good but if heated to hot would have been better. We plan to come back even though our stay in Rome is only 3 days. You can’t go wrong with this place. Great neighborhood without the long wait. 😀

10/10This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. The bruschetta starter was fresh and delicious. My spaghetti carbonara was not only picture-perfect, but was also delicious. My husband enjoyed his ravioli dish as well. We ate outside as it was a beautiful evening and the atmosphere was perfect. Hoping to return to Rome and will certainly return to Verso Sera when we do!

10/10Our first visit to Verso Sera was so wonderful that we made reservations to return 2 nights later. On both occasions the attentive service of Sham and Julia enhanced our experience to perfection. Sham helped us choose the appetizers, entrees, and wines to accompany our selections. The carbonara is a must, stuffed fried olives amazing, veal meatballs and white truffles on pasta both delicious. Compliments to the Chef! All set in the ambiance of a sweet little Roman restaurant. Grazie for 2 beautiful meals.

9.5/10Great little place just around the corner from our hotel near Campo di Fiori. Excellent food and nice people. The special dessert was panna cotta with a fruit and balsamic top layer which was surprisingly delicious.

8/10Lovely little enoteca off Campo di Fiori, we picked it cos it was less touristy than the others, clearly with an interest in fine wine and up a side cut de sac rather than on the main drag of Campo di Fiori. Excellent selection of wines and really friendly good service, part of the interior is really charming and old fashioned. we were also attracted since several clearly Italian mature people were dining there. We chose Roman specialities , the food was Ok rather than amazing but would probably go there again for ambiance and service since was also very near to our hotel and had a lovely feel to it.

10/10We where recommended and it was a great meal. All meals where great quality, not over priced and the staff where amazing. They even made a special take away desert as our son needed to go home earlier than expected. Highly recommended

10/10Prompt and friendly without being invasive or hurrying. Lovely location just off Campo dei Fiori, and a mixture of locals and visitors. Interesting wines available by glass and bottle.

10/10We were striking out to get a reservation even through our hotel concierge as many places are closed on Sunday night. TA and making a reservation through the Fork saved the day! So glad I found this spot. Would absolutely recommend it. Service was warm and well paced. The servers were super lovely and appreciated my husband's somewhat laughable attempts to speak some Italian and even gave him some tips. Food was great. We had the Verso Sera insalate (arugula salad with walnuts, parm, prosciutto and pomegranate seeds) - delicious (9/10). My husband had the Caesar salad which he liked but I thought had a bit too strong an anchovy flavor for me (6.5/10). Then we had trouble debating between which pastas to get. They are all homemade and unlike some restaurants we've been to, they had a full 12 or so options of traditional preparations. My husband had the rigatoni with a tomato sauce (started with an "a") and loved it (8/10) and I had the fettuccini with pecorino cheese and artichokes (9/10). Server did a great job recommending a red by the glass based on what I liked and then same on a delicious dessert wine. So far it's been the best meal of our honeymoon. The atmosphere just off a busy square but tucked into a quiet corner was great for sitting outside I'm sure (it was drizzling so we were seated inside in a small room with 4 tables. There are hundreds of wine bottles stored on the walls and they come by with a special grabber to pluck them down. Very entertaining to watch! Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends. And they gave us the 20% off food discount for booking the reservation on The fork without us mentioning it! Thanks TripAdvisor for saving the day with finding us a great place!

7.5/10The food was decent, but nothing special. Bruschetta was so hard that it was difficult to eat but overall it was OK. Saltimbocca was big and also OK. Pasta with ragu was tasty and cacio e pepe was the brightest star of that meal. Cannot say anything bad, but I wouldn't necessarily come back.

10/10Really nice restaurant - Cosy outside setting - polite service and the food was really really good. Everything was very well prepared and we also got a good bottle of wine. Even without the Fork discount this would still be very worth the price. We would like to retur.

9/10Anchovy stuffed deep fried Zuchini flower and saltimbocca were both excellent. Food and wine service good and helpful. Had to ask for The Fork 20% discount which had not been applied to the bill presented. Waiter apologised and quickly rectified the bill. Well handled. No problem. The discount is generous and can impact on ordering. e.g. 2 courses becoming 3 courses. Would use The Fork again and will return to Verso Sera as we "live" just around the corner.

10/10We have eaten here before and really enjoyed it. We decided to have Christmas dinner here. They presented a special menu for Christmas which was very limited and more expensive than their normal menu. Food was well prepared and very good, but we should have been given the option of ordering from the the more extensive and more reasonably priced menu. When making the reservation, nothing was said about a special menu.
