10/10A quiet and wonderful evening. The wife and I decided to attend for an anniversary dinner and were treated to a special evening from start to finish. Six courses chosen by the chef and four courses of wine. Each dish surprised and delighted us and the Michelin Star is most certainly deserved. We were not rushed or corraled in any way and each dish was explained to us and brought out in perfect time. Enough to fill but not to overindulge. The wines each paired perfectly with their respective foods and we were able to celebrate our anniversary in peace. The rooftop views as the sun set were beautiful. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone in the Rome area looking for an experience that is special and unique. Bellisimo!

8/10This is a very good restaurant but not as outstanding as some of the reviews I have read. It is in the fine dining tradition, but not all the dishes are superb. Service is friendly, but stretched even on an evening that wasn't fully booked.

9.5/10What a jewel! We ate on the terrace. first impressions were pretty, intimate, and an unusual choice of music. A little thrown by the fact that being a table of 6 we were initially asked to stick with the Tasting menu, and we nearly left at that point! What a mistake that would have been ! We ate a La carte. the food is exceptional. Beautifully prepared just by the side of you in a small but beautifully formed kitchen with a delightful husband and wife team and two sous chefs, who looked like artists at work And when I say the food was exceptional ….. it was exceptional …. In how it looked, the little surprises, how it tasted, to the extent that it became THE topic of conversation,, each course eagerly awaited. Without doubt these people await their First Michelin star! Even to breads and amuse bouche And the setting as the stars came out and the simplicity of the lights and the tables gave way to a purely magical night. Book it ! go with it! And enjoy

10/10We ate at The Verve tonight and it was stunning. The food was unbelievable with each course and wine an experience if and of itself. Would highly recommend the 6 course dinner as it is absolutely wonderful. The service was fantastic with each dish being intricately explained.

4/10First, let me start with the good - the weather was not brutally hot and it made the rooftop ambiance and temperature tolerable in July. From there, it's all downhill. We mad ereservation on The Fork app for 7pm. We arrived early, as usual, and were told that the restaurant did not open until 7. We were asked to have a seat on the couch in the A/C. After a 103° day, that was just fine with us. We were told that we could proceed up to the rooftop, which was a surprise to us because we saw the indoor pictures online and it was what made this more appealing. Nevertheless, we went on up to the rooftop bar, which is apparently also the restaurant in the summer. There were already two group up there with kids, which was odd because we were told the restaurant was not open. So, we were sat at a table next to the speakers that were blasting rap music with plenty of curse words, up until just before the chef arrived. We were told the Chef did not arrive until 7:30. Again, our reservations were for 7pm. We were catching the 1st flight out in the morning. No big deal, we had a drink and waited. We ordered the 4 course tasting menu because we assumed that would not take as long. The chef, pastry chef, and another cook all made each course outside. Saying it kindly, we were completely dissatisfied with nearly every course, including the pasta. The most flavorful fish, the dessert, was simply ordinary and cooked without the passion that was expected from the website and reviews. This is the kindest I can describe the food. Ordinary food at extraordinary prices. We finally left and 9:50pm - far beyond our expectations for needing to leave our hotel at 5:45am. Overall, I cannot express the absolute disappointment in choosing this restaurant as our last culinary experience in Italy. I was encourage any reader to try a different reataurant.

9.5/10Surprising experience in Rome . Kindly welcoming, knowledgeable waiters and sommelier, Italian dishes with a contemporary twist that surprises your expectations. I only dislike the menu set on a QR code difficult to read . Highly recommended for those who love unconventional experiences by preserving real Italian traditions . Congrats

10/10A secret, intimate place with a fantastic setting upon a small, cosy terrace over the roofs of Renaissance palazzi and at the same time a real gastronomic adventure! Definitely, it’s one of a kind (especially during blistering Rome’s heat).

10/10Such a lovely, cozy and relaxed place with an amazing food. It was an art, pleasure for eyes and belly. Each dish was very balanced with interesting combination of flavors. They pay attention to every detail. One of the best restaurants I have been. Definitely deserves a Michelin star…. Service was outstanding and very helpful with selecting wine… Owners are such kind hearted couple. You can meet a pastry chef in person :) it was just an amazing experience! Thank you and definitely we are going to be back ! Good luck :)

10/10As a many-year expat in Italy, including three years in Rome, I can say that I am delighted that Verve is now here. This is my new go-to place in Rome, which is a bit of a food desert. Verve is an oasis in that desert, and the location could not be any better. The quality of the food, wine, and service is equal to the four and five star restaurants of Florence.
