The staff is very pleasant and welcoming, the food is good but nothing spectacular. Overall, a solid option for a dinner.

5.5/10The rooftop part looks fine. The eating part is at the interior like any other restaurants. The waiters try to help but don’t aleays succeed. For example they bring still when i asked sparkling water. I asked for the wine list whic came after 30 minutes. About the food: it is a limited menu, not so many choiches. I asked for the fish and it was not cleaned, i almost choke with rhe scales. Limoncello was at the room temperature, i think this something unique in Italy. The restaurant looks good but thats the only good part

I'm sorry for this negative feedback. During the winter months, when temperatures are low, it's difficult to serve dinner on the terrace, but you can have lunch there without any worries. Best regards, Francesco Brasiello, Catering Manager

8.5/10The waiter was very polite and professional, but the kitchen experience was disappointing. The dish arrived late and seemed forgotten, and when we sent it back, it wasn’t received well. Great service from the waiter, but the kitchen needs better communication and organization.

5.5/10Fish was very overcooked. Food was generally very poor. Some staff were very lovely, others not so friendly. Nice location especially if you sit outside.

9/10Without doubt , it’s an outside table you want on a nice day … nice suprize on rooftop in the middle of the gritty part of the city close (300m ) to the Naples central train statio n in the main square ( piazza garibaldi ) … almost always open at anytime , as the restaurant is part of a 4 star hotel ….. speaking of stars , the star here is manager FRANCESCO … old school polite , courteous , authentic , genuine , friendly & is the way all hospitality peoples can take as an example … He will do his best , so you may have a joyous memorable experience , ( & with pleasure ) … no one could ask for more than that (?) !

2/10A terrible way to end a trip. This place's selling point is their rooftop bar, and yet inadequate staffing meant only a tiny section of the roof was actually available for seating, despite us having a reservation. The staff said that no food is available for outdoor seating, right as we saw someone receiving food in the bar area. I received warmer service in remote areas.

Dear Marina, our VesuvioROOF has outdoor tables, but no indoor tables are mentioned. No reservations are allowed, all reservations are on the terrace. During the weekend you can wait while sipping a bubbly. Greetings Francesco Brasiello

5.5/10We had made a reservation several weeks ago and they still made us wait for over half an hour. The service was horrible and the waiters were rude! We also had to wait for our food for over an hour. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!

10/10What a wonderful find in Napoli. The servers are incredibly professional and warm. From the moment we walked in, we were given a glass of Prosecco as a welcome. The sunset views were the perfect backdrop for a romantic meal with my love.

6/10We had a table reservation 19.30, we got our table one hour later. Was in the waiting area for one hour despite reservation!! And people who came in after us, got a table before us. Maybe they shouldn’t work together with the fork if it means you are getting behind in line (the waiter told us!!). Food was nice…wanted to say the view was nice but we had a table where we couldn’t see it and we were blinded by the light from the light projectors outside the terrace!! Not the best experience.

6/10We went for the view but our table was too far from the edge of the patio to have much view. Food was ok. We had a long wait for a table despite having a reservation but they have everyone one free glass of prosecco while waiting. Server was friendly. Glen free bread was good.

This restaurant was absolutely phenomenal, staff were exceptional and gave us complimentary glass of prosecco while we waited to be seated in their beautiful lounge outside. The view was gorgeous, if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Naples, this place was definitely worth it !

9/10Anna made our night at Vesuvius so great. We enjoyed the food, we really enjoyed the ambience, but we loved how Anna took such good care of us, while still serving the rest of the guests. If we ever come back to Naples, we will definitely ask for a table for two and make sure Anna takes care of us!

6/10In general polite servants and Nice surroundings. But the food came with the pre dinner drinks, and wine was forgotten. So the food was cold when the drinks were done and we reordered the wine. We asked for the bill twice, and waited 30 min from finishing dessert to paying.

10/10The rooftop bar and restaurant is a truly pleasant place in Naples. The restaurant on the terrace were busy , but the staff managed to be attentive and friendly througjout our meal. We had a tasty Caprese as an appetizer and swordfish and risotto as maindishes. The fish was grilled to perfection and the risotto was delicious. The ambiance is relaxed and nice and you have a nice view of the Duomo , Piazza Garibaldi and the inner city of Naples and its surrondings. We will recommend the restaurant om if you are looking for an escape from the busy citylife and appficiate lovely food.
