6/10I went to dinner yesterday with two friends, and we were really excited because we thought the restaurant might be amazing. The atmosphere is indeed very calm, but the waiter—an Argentine who was completely bad-tempered and rude— horrible, and the food left a lot to be desired. The carbonara tasted only of egg yolk, and the pizza was just okay. A restaurant like this, with a waiter who treats customers that way, will end up driving everyone away.

Sorry to read your comments. Regarding the service, if it is how you say we apologize however it surprises us as other comments from the same night and same persona gave us a 5 out of 5.. in Google and The Fork. Also strange as the waiter has been with us for 1 year and never before have we had such comments. Maybe there was no chemistry between you two, sometimes that happens, sorry. Regarding the carbonara, well yes... it tastes of egg yolk... mainly because it is Egg Yolk... and a bit of parmesan and a bit of pepper... that is the whole purpose of the carbonara.. to taste like egg yolk. In some countries they modify the recipe and add cream... but that is usually for kids or people who are not prepared for the real thing. I can assure you that in Italy and a true Italian would never do that. We are famous for our carbonara, it comes up in many reviews as one of the best customers have tried and it is our best selling pasta so we are pretty confident that it is good. 10/10Everything was great, but we did not use TheFork discount because it was meant only for inside dining. That was not mentioned in the app when I reserved the timeslot for the dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner at Via Margutta! My daughter loved her margherita pizza, and we also enjoyed the stuffed pasta with braised beef and the spinach & ricotta, all fabulous. The staff went above and beyond, even bringing a spray to remove tomato sauce from my daughter’s shirt (and it worked!). Food, service, and atmosphere, all a 10+. Highly recommend!

A gem of an Italian restaurant. Excellent service and a nice chilled out atmosphere. Great selection of pasta dishes, the Spaghetti Frutti di mare (seafood) was excellent. Also a decent wine list.

10/10We were passed out and looking for something different. This restaurant has a laid back vibe and the food was wonderful! We went back a second time a few days later. Highly recommend the salad with apples/walnuts and mild bleu cheese and the Pasta Norma.
