The restaurants provides a great view over the beach umbrellas at the pool to the ocean. Service was very kind, friendly, positive and personal. Food - according to this great setting 'unfortunately' - only average.

While the service was prompt and friendly and the food was OK (but not fancy), it feels like an average hotel restaurant. For a 4-star historic hotel property, I expected much more. The decor and atmosphere was lacking. Uncomfortable chairs and a bit warm inside. Overall not memorable or worth recommending compared to other exciting restaurants in Sagres.

The restaurant was spectacular. The food was top quality with appealing taste and excellent presentation. The staff were friendly and efficient. The view was spectacular. Although the dining room was full we felt as though we were dining alone in such a romantic atmosphere. Five star. Beautiful anniversary celebration.

Disappointing. To start we ate croquettes (3 for 10€!) which were good but incredibly expensive. Then cataplana and cod, both way too salty. No dessert because it was an uninspiring buffet.
