10/10The food was creative, artistcally presented and excellent. The room was well designed and very comfortable. We have been in Italy for 3 weeks and have had great meals but this was clearly the best one.

The overall friendliest of the people working there, the quality and presentation of the food on our first visit made us immediately make another booking which was just as good again. If in Lecce it's worth a visit.

6.5/10Lovely service. Good missed the mark, my scallops were over cooked and tough. The pork dish was inventive but too many ingredients seemingly at random. Tiramisu was good. Background music was soft rich with long loud guitar solos; not particularly pleasant or appropriate. Price was quite reasonable; just over 100 euros for two: 2 courses each plus one dessert and a bottle of wine.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our table of 4 each tried different items and we were all impressed with quality of dishes. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

10/10Really excellent food. We ordered an antipasto, and three other dishes plus dessert. All were excellent and we would order all the plates again. They recommended a wine that was not on the wine list and it was wonderful. Exactly what we wanted. And, the bottle of wine was so reasonably priced. We thought the prices were reasonable for all the food, all of which were so thoughtfully and wonderfully prepared. Great flavors. The staff were all kind and attentive, and described each dish when brought to the table. Fresh home made pasta, fresh homemade breads. Desserts we had were fabulous and not too sweet! Menus available in Italian and English. Quiet area, just a short distance from the busy area of the historical center in Lecce. We will be back and we will recommend this lovely place to others.

10/10Lovely restaurant. Fabulous food. Best in Lecce in my opinion for a very reasonable price. So good we came back twice. Particularly loved the scallops and cod and chicken dish but the cheese tart also delicious. 😋

10/10We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Vico del cucinere last night. Every dish was perfect, delicious and beautifully presented. We have been 2 weeks touring Puglia and this was our best meal so far. Innovative puglian inspired cooking

+1The food is not only delicious but a work of art … presentation beyond expectation. The outdoor seating is on a quiet street away from the Lecce crowds. Pleasant music is playing at a reasonable volume. It was a lovely experience.

10/10I arrived at an evening where I had the restaurant for myself (Monday). The food was enjoyable and highly creative done at a presentation worth its money. You should visit this place before the Michelin inspectors will do it resulting in a climb in the ranks and the prices. Highly recommended but a bit difficult to find (I used the navigation app of my smartphone)

10/10The food was exquisite and the service attentive but not overly so. I am gluten free. This was no problem with gluten free bread and crackers served. The amuse bouche was adjusted to be gluten free and I was served tiny warned gluten free biscuits with my coffee. Faultless. Thank you for making me feel like a normal diner.

9/10Fine dining take on traditional Puglian food. Food quality very good with only one (very) small blip - the crème brûlée with apple that we had for desert tasted great but was slightly scrambled. Other than that - perfect!
