We tried the degustation menu, the 7 different tastes, it was good but they started from the big A - the Diavola with octopus was great and then the experience was worse and worse. Choosing a traditional pizza is a better idea, the dessert was nice and drinks as well. Good service

Pizza excellent on both occasions. Staff pretentious, an odd feel but overall worth going for the Pizza.

The place where the restaurant is located is really nice! The interior is something from ancient Rome and the food is tasty! The prices are normal considering all the above!

Just Ok. No outside seating and we sat in a corner even asking for a better seat. Server was in charge of a large table and seemed to manage between each table. Wasn’t a fan of the super rich red sauce and the octopus tasted fishy. First time I’ve ever had a “fishy” tasting octopus…. Hopefully not bad 🙃

Very pleasant experience. Service was amazing and kind, food was fantastic. Hard to choose a good pizza place in Rome and had a great outcome. Will recommend and thankfully come again

Tucked away in the back streets of Rome, this from the outside unassuming looking restaurant is a different world inside. Staff attentive, polite, and clearly wanting you to have a good gastronomic experience. Some of the dishes are Michelin star level, but you can also order classics such as pasta and pizza which is what we went for. A simple delicious rocket and tomato salad was a shared starter. I don't eat tomatoes but I tried some and they were lovely. A simple Margherita pizza for main which again was delicious. And the star of the show for me was the bounty dessert. I would go back again to try this. Oh and a beautiful Mango, lime and alcohol free ginger beer cocktail which was sublime.

We came at our time, we didn't like the table they offered us and we chose another one. The staff with a disgruntled face moved us and was obviously unhappy with our visit.

Far classier than your average Pizza and wine restaurant. A very pleasant surprise with a great ambience, unstuffy service and great tastes.

Great pizza, service and decent wine choice by the glass

The setting is 5 star. The ambience is lovely also. The first glass of wine had oxidation and it was 8€ a glass. It was mentioned but no replacement offered. The main meal consisted of a calzone pizza and a dessert of tiramisu. This was a mixed bag. The pizza was only half eatable due to the white fatty cheese which was too difficult to digest and half had to remain uneaten. The dessert was tiramisu which was superb, the best I have experienced. Sadly , an expresso was delivered in a non hot cup to make the whole evening a thumbs down at 49€ In summary, a few good decisions by those in the know could resurrect things, but I’m afraid there will be ‘as it is’. Overcharging for ambience and not good food. Overall, not recommended, I am sad to say

The pizzas weren't crispy, the bottom was quite soggy and soft. The waiter who served us was quite rude. When bringing the bill, he slammed the bill holder onto the table.

Top service, impressive interior. Excellent white wine (timorasso). Pizzas. Absolutely fantastic. Especially the tomato sauce, it's amazing!

Fabulous pizza. Period. Lovely restaurant which feels very upmarket but the menu is only pizza, nothing else, which we loved.

Authentic interior, truly Neapolitan pizza on the thin crust (and a large selection of feelings!). Tomato salad with arugula is not worth attention—only cherry tomatoes were tasty, and the arugula was not appropriately washed—sand crunched on teeth. Polite service. Very politely, with questions and body language, waiters hinted that it was time for us to leave as soon as we finished with pizza, ordered an espresso and did not plan to order more. But for the pizza, it is worth coming back here!

+6The best pizza I’ve ever had in my life was at an amazing restaurant etched in my memory, not just for its incredible food but also for its charming style, which we reached by strolling through the enchanting streets near the Pantheon! Their desserts were extraordinary as well! Every time I visit Rome, the first thing I’ll definitely do is have pizza at Vico. The service, presentation, ambiance, hygiene, and flavor are simply on another level!

Once you walk into VICO, you feel at home. From drinks to the surprise welcome nibble to the food, the entire experience is personal. And everything thing is amazing! We never felt rushed to finish and the staff were so friendly and fun to talk to. This is a must when in Rome!

Diavola pizza was outstanding. Food was great, we ordered the carpaccio and tuna tataki, both very good flavor and for dessert a coccinella, equally as good, service was ok, the place is beautiful.

It is honestly one of the very best pizza I ever ate. the staff is as gentle as professional with their own specialty (dessert, alcohol, primi and secondi) I 100% recommend it.

Truly amazing — beautiful wine collection with expertise knowledge. amazing staff that quickly put 2-frazzled parents traversing Rome with a toddler too ease with a special quick pizza (thus allowing parents to enjoy their dinner). Gorgeous restaurant— locals with tourists. And then, the pizza —wow: the cheese, bread: wife had a beautiful Margherita with so much flavor!! I wanted something bold—Ansjovis perfect!! But— the small fried Mediterranean was an uninspected surprise. The deserts were pretty great- limoncello-sponge cake and the Bellini mouse (and pastry chef reviewed with us). We will be back!!

Very nice ambiance, great staff and delicious pizza. Liked their wines and we also recommend the cold cuts board, nice selection of local produce.

The staff was exceptional: attentive, kind and warm. The pizza was delicious and the toppings were a welcome change from the standards. The bartender is a master, try a cocktail!
