7/10The terrine I ordered for the starter was huge and pleasant - visually I would have been very proud if I made it. So filling was it I ordered a French onion soup. This was seriously disappointing - tiny helping , watery and no cheese float. I complained and got a serving that half filled the bowl … I wouldn’t like to bet they put a squirt of water in to top up the quantity. As it was watered I would bet against it. Very compact seating - so company in fact that I joked to the neighbouring tables I should introduce myself. Americans to my left and right - great if lonely as I met some loverly people: when I mean compact I mean more like a shared table. My partner liked her beef cheek to be honest. The neighbours had the onion soup and they too were very disappointed.

2/10I made a reservation for 5 ppl, including my baby, the day before on fork and received the confirmation. When we got to the restaurant, we were told that there’s no table for us, they cannot see our reservation. We were told that Fork confirms reservations automatically and it doesn’t guarantee a table. The best would be to call or make the reservation on their own website. Why is this restaurant then on Fork??? We had to find another restaurant in very cold weather during lunch time rush with a kranky baby! I like this restaurant normally so got super disappointed.

Dessert never arrived :( well described but kitchen forgot it, pressed vegetables starter with tapenade was amazing. attention and explanation of dishes were great. well paired with a petit Chablis and chateanuf du pape for the chautbrion filet .Highly recommended for an aunthetic French dinner, everyone in the restaurant great.

7.5/10This is a lovely little restaurant with a limited menu but well prepared food. They are probably more used to people lingering and talking over their meal but as a sole businessperson I found the service painfully slow . The octopus was amazing , the pavlova dessert ok but nothing special . I would go there again in company but probably not alone

10/10My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here our last night in Paris. I loved everything about the experience, and the food was delicious! Our waiter was helpful and knowledge about the course options, the duck was amazing. It was a romantic spot. If we ever come back to Paris, Victor is on our list!

5.5/10The location is in a quiet street. The ambiance is lively. Service is REALLY SLOW, so Prepare yourself when you get there. The waiter was very interactive and friendly. Wine choice was decent. Food was nothing outstanding. Average French food.

9.5/10Creative cuisine, a mix of traditional & nouveau dishes; remarkable offering of grand cru wines by the glass, as well as a deep carte de vin. What menu lacks in breath is more than made up for by spot-on presentation of each dish. Knowledgeable, attentive staff. Convivial atmosphere, save for slightly loud music. Definitely will remain on our encore list.

8/10Superb service. Very warm and friendly welcome. Excellent advice on wines and meal choices. Great table...just as requested by email in advance. Wonderful food. A++ all around.....on a scale of 1/10 Victor is a solid 10 for us. We took important Parisian friends to dinner at Victor....first time for all of them and they were pleasantly IMPRESSED. We'll be back !!!

9.5/10One of our perennial favorite tables in Paris. The food is always superb with very fine ingredients and clever flavor combinations. Try the current Trois Fois de la Mer, for example. I can still remember a dish I had here 10 years ago. It was Poulet in a Sauce Jurançon. Simply unforgettable. Another reason to come is the availability of Grands Vins by the glass. I always get to try something wonderful from great bottles that are hopelessly out of my price range. It’s a wonderful feature that I hope never changes. Lastly, I must complement the team of young and very knowledgeable servers. I can only marvel where the manager finds them. Bien fait, mes amis!
